  1. If you compare Cozens to Eichel, Reinhart or ROR Metrics before the latter three were moved, they were light years ahead of where Cozens is. I do not see him making a huge impact like the other three did for their new organizations. Heck even Casey’s Metrics have slipped this year.
  2. Not answer you would even want to consider but I believe it’s Marco Kasper. When Ottawa agreed to the Matt Murray Deal and the swapping of draft picks in the first round in 2022, he was the player they were going to take a seventh overall. Whether he would have been the centerpiece for the return for the Sabres in a Cozens Trade is unknown. JT Compher reportedly did say he would consider going to teams that are not necessarily on other players radar. Cozens for Kasper and Compher maybe? I believe Detroit broke off negotiations to give McLelland a chance to assess the Red Wings before any moves are made
  3. I would keep both as well, unfortunately the Sabres are a budget team so I doubt that happens. The ideal situation is to trade or buyout Samuelsson to open either 4.25 or 3.5million per year. (It does save 10.7 million from his original contract as well so the owner should be happy with) and a Byram Extension
  4. Agreed Byram works with Dahlin, he really hasn’t shown the ability to carry a pair in Buffalo by himself. Moving Power creates the need for an entire new second pair.
  5. Last year first periods were the problem, this year it’s the second, so at this rate it will be the 26-27 season when the play a complete game
  6. The junior in host arena announcer is Fran Drescher’s Granddaughter
  7. He was the next player on the draft board and the consensus next selection. A few eyebrows were raised at the draft table when Leinonen was picked.
  8. They are 5-2-1 since the 13 game losing streak
  9. Botterill wanted a Winnipeg second round pick to be included that’s what is rumored to have sunk the deal
  10. That’s the three point night for McLeod
  11. Ok that makes up for the penalties
  12. Both Tampa Bay and the Florida Panthers will host outdoor games next season, with the Panthers hosting the Rangers on Jan 2 for the Winter Classic. Tampa will host Boston in February
  13. Kulich is week to week
