  1. I’m flattered, but You need to multiply that by 2
  2. I’m actually on vacation and actually hit a milestone birthday myself today
  3. He did break the Eichel Trade
  4. Given that Pilut is waiver exempt while Bryson and Fitzgerald are not. Unless Pilut dramatically outperforms them, I think Larry goes to Rochester and is the First Call Up on Defense
  5. Statsny on a one year deal with a slight overpay with the promise they will flip Him to a contender with 50% Retained at the TDL would be a good move. Defense Depth is tricky, any good defenseman that would be a fill in for the Top Six probably doesn’t want to be in a press box rotation as the young players will get ice time over them. With Bishop’s Contract actually only costing 700k in real money, I imagine they keep it to maximize flexibility at the TDL Also teams now in the Tkachuk Sweepstakes will probably need to dump some salary.
  6. Interestingly on the Expected Buffalo Podcast, they discussed that when He was paired with Jacob Chychrun, Chychrun’s Offensive Metrics got worse, so a long term plan with a third pairing with Bryson seems appropriate.
  7. This is the last year that not being in genuine contention for the playoffs should be tolerated, IMO. Some of the posters already feel We are way past that, which is their prerogative. By the 2023-24 Season, Adams will have had Four Drafts and a two legimate seasons to evaluate His Roster. I know He has been GM for three but it’s plainly evident that Krueger had this roster so FUBAR that any kind of evaluation is difficult at best. Feel free to disagree with that statement. By that point in time He should know who is the core of this team moving forward and who should remain from Botterill’s Acquisitions. Mitts, Bryson, Tage, Cozens, Samuelsson and Dahlin. And whether Olofsson and Asplund remain, although the latter has cemented a roster spot for the foreseeable future based on defensive play, IMO. The 2023-24 Team will have three of has drafted players with NHL Experience, namely Quinn, Peterka and Power with Savoie ready to start His NHL Career. The Amerks that season should have Levi, Rosen, Kisakov, Bloom, Nadeau, Kozak and Kulich on the team, along with Johnson hopefully. Adams should have a good idea about His Salary Cap moving forward and be able to target bigger UFAs on a as needed basis. Finally the prospect pool, future assets and the team should be in a place where targeting a player such as Tkachuk would not only help the team by adding the player, but not deplete the asset and prospect pool too deeply by making the acquisition.
  8. Giving up assets for Him in a trade wasn’t an deemed a good idea right now. As a UFA is TBD.
  9. He grew up in Carney’s Point 45 minutes from Philadelphia and His Wife is from a Philadelphia Suburb, the Flyers were His First Choice Mark Lazerus from the Athletic tweeted a betting site that had the Sabres 7th at 15/2 odds of being Kane’s Next Team. Graham who also works for the Athletic, reached out to His Sabres Sources to find out what the interest was put out the tweet. @tom webster told us there were discussions in the front office about bringing Him in.
  10. Ironically I’ll be in Anaheim, when the Ducks are in Buffalo
  11. Between Vacations and Work, I am going to miss the most games I have in quite a few years. Great timing huh?
  12. Northeastern plays at Lowell and Harvard the Day after the Sabres play Their Two Games in Boston. I imagine Levi will be invited to the AM Skate and to sit with Adams for the Game
  13. Any deal would have to include an extension for Tkatchuk and the Sabres are not in a position to give up the assets necessary to make the deal as they are not one player away. Add that they already have a Winger making 9 million AAV, it puts them in a difficult spot. That being said, even as winger, Tkatchuk is a play driving monster with great defensive metrics.
  14. The earliest the Sabres Can sign Poltapov is for the 2025-26 Season. Neuchev is on record saying that He wants to come to the NHL, He would be eligible to sign next offseason. Novikov will be an interesting case. He is eligible to be signed next offseason, but he dropped on Teams Draft Boards as there was concern whether He would actually leave the KHL. Perhaps Lubushkin can help with that. The Geopolitical Realities of the world might be the biggest barrier though.
  15. Calgary is about to go from winning the division to drafting Connor Bednard in less than 12 months
  16. If Peterka is pushing for Bottom Six Minutes on the Sabres, He would be much better off in Rochester playing on the Top Line. i do like the rest of the lines though
  17. The Sabres bought Him a Printer
  18. I’m at work right now with 3 people under the age of 30, only one has a printer. The other two do not see a need for one
