  1. I really trust Kevin when He puts info out there.
  2. Or maybe Sheahan’s Camp reached out to the Sabres earlier in Free Agency and they told them, We maybe interested but are working on a few other things first. One of these was an offer on the table for Larsson and they finalized Sheahan’s Deal in short order after Johan made His Decision.
  3. Artuu signed in the Swiss League on 7/22. Larsson returning to the SHL was reported by Elite Prospects on 8/10 at 10:15am and the Sabres announce the Sheahan Signing eight hours later at 6pm on 8/10. It was Larsson
  4. Again You mentioned that Adams has zero interest in deals such as this, which is demonstrably false. Maybe Taro can point to the section in the CBA that allows the Sabres to overrule Players NTCs or force players to sign with them. Winnipeg isn’t moving Hellebuyck and Gibson has a M NTC as does Bob. You might want to check the Toronto Message Boards and more importantly Lubushkin’s Defensive Metrics before calling Him a cast off. He is the true definition of a stay at home defensive defenseman with strong PK Skills. These basement bargains all have good analytics in certain areas that they were brought in for. Call at Moneyball for Hockey. Which leads to another point, Adams has been ultra aggressive in assembling the Analytics Department and more importantly listening to Ventura’s Recommendations. Which defenseman and/or goaltender would You have liked the Sabres to acquire? The Sabres appear on a majority of players NTCs, this was the case with Murray and presumably Monahan. All the creative thinking and the willingness to spend money cannot overcome that.
  5. My response was to Your First Post that Adams has shown zero interest in being this aggressive since He got burned in the Hall Trade. We have an entire thread about the Sabres having a deal in place trading 16th OA to Ottawa 7th OA and Murray with salary retention. The Sabres were one of the teams in on a potential JVR Deal to open cap space for Gaudreau. Fletcher balked at the asking price of Philadelphia’s First. They were also in on another deal for a cap dump, until another team took it for pennies on the dollar. So for someone who has zero interest in these types of deals, Adams is sure demonstrating a lot of interest
  6. He probably goes on LTIR at the beginning of the season And they can be 10% above the cap for awhile

  8. Of course all corporations do this with their foundations and The Pegulas can choose to do whatever they want with Their Money. The 88 Million for Penn State and the 12 Million for Houghton College lead to them having The Pegula Name on Two Buildings at Their Alma Maters. Something Billionaires and Millionaires seem to enjoy or more importantly Their Egos do. The original point of My Post was to highlight while the Pegulas did donate 300k to the Tops Funds and 1.2 Million to WNY Covid Relief, it’s important to remember where a majority of that money originated from as both donations came from the Bills and Sabres Foundations.
  9. Per Lance Lysowski Kisakov’s Immigration Issues have been resolved, He is clear to join the Sabres for TC
  10. Per Lance Lysowski, He is returning to Minnesota for His Senior Year. I believe Pi mentioned this as well
  11. A side note regarding these donations. Most if not all of the money donated came from the Bills and Sabres Foundations, both which receive a majority of their funding from fans and local business donations. 200,000 from the Bills, 100,000 from the Sabres and 200,000 from NFL Foundation. The largest donation of over one million dollars, came from PSE selling Choose Love T Shirts with the Bills, Sabres or Bandits Logo. The Pegulas Generosity appears to be centered around the use of Their Team Logos for fundraising purposes and release of raised funds from the foundations.
  12. Are they acquiring another First in a trade?
