All the creative thinking and the willingness to spend money cannot overcome that.

The Sabres were one of the teams in on a potential JVR Deal to open cap space for Gaudreau. Fletcher balked at the asking price of Philadelphia’s First. They were also in on another deal for a cap dump, until another team took it for pennies on the dollar. So for someone who has zero interest in these types of deals, Adams is sure demonstrating a lot of interest

Of course all corporations do this with their foundations and The Pegulas can choose to do whatever they want with Their Money. The 88 Million for Penn State and the 12 Million for Houghton College lead to them having The Pegula Name on Two Buildings at Their Alma Maters. Something Billionaires and Millionaires seem to enjoy or more importantly Their Egos do.
