Per speculation on my part I’m surprised that Columbus didn’t give him a look Appert that is

Evolving Hockey has Engvall’s Projected Contract at 3 years 2.9 Million AAV and Tatar at 3 years 3.89 Million AAV Bennett would be a good acquisition
-
It would not surprise me if Patrick ends up as an Assistant in Rochester next season, with the understanding he gets an opportunity for the Amerks HC position when Appert inevitably leaves for the NHL. As Weave pointed out, completely different player and situation. Grigorenko was put in the NHL way before he was ready and was a text book example of how not to develop a prospect
-
Engvall and Tatar would be outstanding pick ups. Hathaway and Acciari would be next. Wood does suck though
-
I was thinking AHL for both as long as they do not interfere with drafted prospects.

That was my thought

His Brother Case is entering his senior year as the Captain of BU. He was a fourth round pick of NJD and will be an UFA on August 15, 2024 if he doesn’t sign. RHD.

Yes, once assigned to the WHL, he can only come back on an emergency recall

From Pronman Background: Ratzlaff split starts this past season in Seattle with Thomas Milic who was Canada’s starting goalie at the world juniors. He was Canada’s starting U18 goalie in the summer, leading the Hlinka Gretzky with a .976 save percentage in four starts. He was the 43rd pick in his WHL Bantam Draft. Analysis: Ratzlaff’s pure athleticism stands out when you watch him. He can explode across the crease with his quickness. He’s quick but controlled, as he doesn’t over slide plays. Ratzlaff’s size is the main knock against him, as he’s barely 6 feet 1, but he plays quite aggressive which helps. He uses his quick lower body to challenge shooters and generally makes a lot of high-difficulty saves. The size will be an issue until he shows it isn’t, but I think he has the brain, consistency and talent to play games.

They do need a scoring winger, not sure if that gets it done though -
Maxim Strbak is going to play at Michigan State for Nightengale’s Brother next year, I have a hunch he is the pick at 39
