Nolan has impressed quite a few people i'm sure. I wonder what he would be like with a good team? Is his ability to wring every ounce of talent from a team or only to make bad teams better? Interesting to find out.
I think he has earned the right to coach this team for another couple of years.

Sounds like Tim Murray was in St. Catherines tonight watching Ekblad amongst others.
In St Catharines for Niagara vs Barrie. Sabres GM Tim Murray is here.
Murray took off before the end of the game, once Barrie started to rest Ekblad near the end of the rout. He saw what he needed to see.
Also, Detroit prospect Andreas Athanasiou had 5 goals & 2 assists for Barrie tonight. If DET wants a rental, think Murray would ask for him?

I think Snow will be under too much pressure this offseason to defer the pick. He will need to grossly over spend on free agents and I could see the Islanders giving Callahan the contract he wants.
