Do you think his reputation is turning around a little bit? He stuck with Granato to the tune of the seventh most tenured coach in the NHL. The GM is going into year five. The arena upgrade process is starting. It appears his meddling has reduced (family situation contributed). He’s hanging out long term contracts. He’s only firing COO’s because they cannot keep it in their pants. Player facilities seem to be industry standard or better.
While it isn’t a given that they’ll be a cap team this year…if they are, what are the complaints at this point?
This comment was before Adams was hired. But I still believe the top end talent still believes this is a toxic situation.

Everything Pegula touches…
The irony is a well sought after potential hire once said Everything the Pegulas touch turns to ***** and the entire NHL knows it.
With Arizona out, he has to rank 32nd out of the NHL owners in terms of who is most desirable to work for.
Luckily, Lindy is comfortable with coming back
The search for Granato’s Replacement did start a few weeks before he was fired. I do believe Adams wanted to or at least thought about replacing him in season

I want this guy to hit the open market so the limitations of what a coach actually does can be exposed. Dude is the most overhyped asset in the NHL I all but guarantee it - bookmark this post
The concept of Rod Brindamour
One advantage Lindy Ruff has is his ability to adapt his systems to the players he has. Rod isn’t the best at doing so

There is no ***** way Rod Brindamour is going to ever work for Terry Pegula

This is why I made the ?
It is the one place he might go to and if he knows Francis will make him the highest paid coach in the league (unofficially of course as anything actual is tampering we know that) why wouldn't he go there on a long term deal? Raleigh might be a nice place, but Seattle is nicer.
Mrs. Brind’amour has deep family ties with Raleigh-that’s worth a couple million per year in negotiations right there

Ruff’s Usage of Marino, as well as Karmanos and Ventura’s familiarity with Him from Pittsburgh is a definite plus.

If you want, bitch about about how much Erik Johnson played, but it's no longer an issue either.
Adams brought up in a radio interview that Johnson was signed to be the 7th defenseman, however Granato did not use him that way

Nice! It's always nice when things break your way. Great to hear.
When I quit, I have to give 90 days, so be thankful it's only 2 weeks 😝
It was 180 days for me when I left My Hospitalist Position.
Congratulations Ink!

He is indeed out. How fast they fall from grace.
Brind'Amour? Now that would be interesting.
Seattle is probably the only situation he would love Carolina for. He has a great relationship with Ron Francis and as you know is a BC Native
