Here's my question to you 11. Do you trust the bills at making 2 first round draft picks haha (instead of sammy). We would've taken someone like Ebron, and then something like a safety this year. Please fire everyone (This is semi tongue in cheek, but sadly kinda serious)

Nfreeman I meant ignore the trade for my useless point that Watkins is better than beckham in my opinion. Wasn't bills specific lol. I also think they should all be fired I think if bills lose any of their next three games, there's no reason not to start Manuel

I'm not arguing for or against the trade. I'm just saying I take sammy Watkins over beckham 10 times out of 10. Ignoring the trade, team, and history, would anyone take beckham on their team over Watkins? I just don't see it, that was my point (nothing to do with Whaley or the bills, but Watkins will be the better player. I'm not saying anyone was saying otherwise)

There's a reason they were rated so differently coming into the draft. I think beckham's ceiling is around a desean Jackson. While sammy Watkins has a ceiling near a Julio jones. I understand not wanting to take a WR early like we did (or trading up to get him), and I understand hating the move. But that doesn't make them equal players. Watkins was seen as an elite top 3 player of the draft, beckham wasn't.

I hate this type of argument. It was an amazing catch, might be the best I've ever seen, but it doesn't mean anything. I don't think he will be in the same class as Watkins when it's all said and done. You can hate the trade, beckham just doesn't gave to do anything with it IMO

With so much legitimate ammo to pick and choose from to hate on the bills and sabres, it's odd to me how the few positives draw so much irrational hate. But then I remember those opinions are of a few people on a forum haha. The hate for pegula or Murray is so weird

The Pit, LA, Chicago grouping really ending up working for those teams. St. Louis seems to be coming around. Nashville, Florida, and Edmonton though.....

Also just a quick look at those lists. Here are the teams that were in the top 3 for consecutive years (something the sabres have just done, I think that is a fair benchmark): 2004-2005 Penguins 2004-2005 Capitals 2004 - 2005 Blackhawks 2007-2009 Blues 2009-2010 Predators 2011-2012 Panthers 2013-2014 Sabres The only team thats just missed out was 2006-2008 LA Kings (#2 in 2006, #5 in 2007, #3 2008). Also Edmonton has been hanging around the top 5 since 2010

Winning fixes everything. If our prospects reach their potential and we become a great team, then it was worth it. If they don't, then it wasn't I knows its obvious, but it really is that simple. Was this the only way to do it? No. Is this the way they chose? Yes. Was there better choices? Who knows. Is this or any way guaranteed to work? Never.

I don't think he has the scoring ability to be anything more than a 4th liner, but I think he could be a perfect 4th liner and I'm a fan. He plays a two way game, hits, fights, plays hard, and can chip in with points. I think he's been a bright spot this season -
Forget what? Wouldn't depth and sheer quantity be what you want with high bust rates?

I really don't think so. I'd much rather have a different type of secondary scoring type player in the bottom six. PS, I didn't realize flynn was already 26 -
Top tier talent wise, there other teams that are on our level and close to us. But just because of high number of draft picks our depth goes really far. A lot of high potential boom or bust players too.
