  1. Buffalo's other team :wallbash:
  2. Also just saw this article about biggest hitting prospects: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/115823/top-five-biggest-hitters-among-nhl-prospects/ Sabres take the top two spots! (I know it wasn't your point but still fun)
  3. And I didn't mean it in a negative way
  4. so dumb :w00t:
  5. ha! Also, I know i'v said this before, but I really like deslauriers as a grinder on this team. He is a very good fighter, hustles, hits, etc.
  6. that mic'd up is too funny. I'm happy kaleta is on our team or I would hate him
  7. I was joking more than anything. But on paper the oilers should be better than they are, so I'll believe it when I see it :P
  8. Kaleta & McCormick v. Boyle http://youtu.be/g5DvshHD6xo Boyle Mic'd Up for Fight http://youtu.be/F6QLVYcrKi0

  11. I don't mind us gooning it up sometimes :)
  12. hahahaha i love this so much
  13. and lose 6-4, 6-5 for all eternity
  14. haha, it's just weird timing and it makes no sense. But that organization is so poorly ran it doesn't need to make sense. I am a fan of hockey, not just the sabres, and I feel bad for that team.
  15. It's the Oilers...
  16. An oilers trade has been "imminent" for over a year now. Apparently they are willing to trade anyone, except you know, they don't.
  17. May be an idea (not much thought has been put into it), but if a cop decides to arrest someone, they can only forcefully arrest them for certain crimes. For example. if someone resists arrest for selling untaxed cigarettes, the officer cannot pursue further arrest at that time. This would be an additional charge (resisting arrest), but then a warrant has to be filed for that arrest, looked over by a judge, and then the officers can proceed to arrest that individual after the heat of the moment. This means you have a judge overseeing more arrests and heat of the moment arrest/struggles are decreased.
  18. No denying there are benefits and its a subject I can agree to disagree. I could just foresee this easily expanding their powers, not limiting it. Also, while only 1 case study, your eric garner case looks just like a body-camera case would. I'm against spending billions on giving the police the power to videotape anything. Just my take. If you want to take the power away from the DA in prosecuting cops, you have my ears.
  19. I get the benefit, I don't think it has any chance of becoming a norm. What type of cops should wear it? Just patrol? So now witnesses are going to be recorded. If a cop enters my home, my house will be recorded. Every interaction with citizens are going to be recorded. Suspects are going to be videotaped while being interviewed on the street. The amount of privacy concerns this brings up is astounding. Is anything admissible at court? So to limit police abusing powers, we are going to let them videotape everything. Excellent. 99% of police time is not spent abusing people. Yea cameras may help in those situations, but what about the other 99% of the time. Giving the government more surveillance isn't the answer to limit government power. Let's just throw up domestic drones everywhere?
  20. I'm happy the country is having the discussions as they are very important. Whether or not race or police brutality really occurred (most likely the case but you never know. Besides the chokehold, that was wrong). But don't expect reform because the main solution I hear is the camera one, which no offense to you all, but that isn't happening.
  21. Yup the only thing these protestors are saying is "I'm unhappy"
  22. I agree it's the best reason. I'm saying it's not a good enough reason. Let's not get the 1984 ball rolling even more by picking and choosing what jobs where cameras. You're silly if you don't think it would expand to other jobs. Plus, good luck having states pass that law. Should all gun owners wear cameras when they are carrying?
  23. I don't like the idea of making someone wear a camera if they have the power to cause harm. A lot of jobs do that, over surveillance scares me as much as police abusing powers
  24. Eh, I wouldn't want to wear a camera at work. It's just too much
