We saw a big drop off this year in goals scored. PP sucked, even strength was not great and several players went backwards. How should this be addressed? * The PP simply has to get better and that's on Ruff. * The vets needs to step up * I really don't see any young player--aside from maybe Benson increasing his output--coming in and making a big difference * Does that mean a trade or Free Agency needs to address this need?

Totally disagree. Because two guys went after him its less of an offense? If NHL is in anyway serious about protecting players they need to punish the offenders I see what you mean, but players are suppose to be in control.

We are organizing a major protest at Lafayette Square to show our extreme displeasure with this injustice. We fans have put up with enough! 13 years without playoffs and now they promote someone! This is another example of the Imperialist mindset of our oppressors! We are being treated like children and told to accept these results. As such, we have a series of demands: 1) We want a guarantee that we make the playoffs next year. No more excuses! 2) Officiating that is more fair towards our team. 3) Fans should be allowed to visit the bench during the game to give the players and coach advice 4) A cheeseburger Join the thousands and thousands that will show up to the event. As Czechoslovakia was a Communist country at the time of Dudáček's drafting, bringing him to North America was a difficult proposition for the Sabres organization. Dudáček's father was also a high-ranking Communist party member. While other teams helped Czechoslovak players sneak out of their homeland to come to the NHL, Sabres general manager Scotty Bowman attempted to convince Czechoslovak officials to legally allow Dudáček to come to Buffalo. All efforts were declined by the Czechoslovak sports authorities, though, claiming Dudáček was "too young" to leave the country.[1][2]
