Watching Dahlin grow by leaps and bounds every game is enough to make this early part of the season worth watching. The winning is nice too, though.

I woke up, checked the score and wondered who scored the third goal. Saw the highlight of Skinners goal and then remembered watching it. I thought the play might have been off sides but it was such a blooper pass no way they could have checked it. Sabres are beating teams they should beat now.

Dahlin looks great, so nice to see that first goal. Made it look easy.

Avs have been scoring a lot of goals, but the Coyotes have not. They have been shut out twice. Avs look like a really good team and Coyotes don't. Assuming we are now a middle of the road team, we should beat Coyotes. Hurrah for mediocre! It is a step up.

That would require a rules change. My idea is to get rid of the off sides at blue line when attacking, but once in the zone the defense could clear it and the attacking players would have to leave the zone, but after that, they could just return whether the puck was over the line or not. I don't know if that would work, but would like to see it tried.

It's only a few games but he seems like a unique athlete. "Mrs Gump, your boy is different." I dont mean that in a bad way. So tall, yet he is pretty quick, and has good hands. He looks like he needs to get a little thicker, though. I see why Jbot wanted him and can really see him developing into a dominant two way center. He isn't there yet, though. But having a hulking center out there controlling the middle of the ice for the next six or so years is a nice thought. I like him so far for the potential.

Yes, especially a defenseman. Housley seems to like him, and he knows.

That's why its so difficult to say its time to move on from players that physically gifted but have not figured out game. Defenseman are like this.
