What other choice will there be but to put him in there to start a good portion of games? I'm just guessing he is "ok" and does not embarrass himself but doesn't steal any games for us. I see that as a positive thing if it turns out that way.

Can he just blow us off by not signing an entry level contract? Didn’t another goalie stay in college on us? If goalies don’t really play until they are 23 or so anyway, maybe he just stays in college? Would that not also apply to the Michigan St goalie we own the rights to? Butcher and Jimmy Vessy was like that too, I believe. Hope on wrong on this

I don't know. In the games we won under Don G the goalies were not asked to do much. Houser, Toker and UPL won games, made a lot of saves but didn't see a lot of high quality shots, imo. I thought it was a "The best defense is a good offense" strategy. Will be nice to see that for a whole season (I hope)
