You guys do get that the team can play a more aggressive offense in front of Miller, right? Lack of offensive talent aside, the team can do things with Miller in net that it can't with Jhonas.
And this season one of those things they can dow with Miller in net they can't seem to do with Enroth in net is win :P

Of course, sane people know that something, eventually, probably sooner than later, HAS to happen, simply based on the time of year, the status of certain players, the team's record, and the overall objective to become a contender. If the team were not to make a move or two, then, all of the firings and hiring lately, especially, and all of the reassurances to the public by TPegs down, would mean absolutely nothing.
So, without even checking Twitter, I, personally, can assure you that, SOMETHING will happen. And probably sooner than, oh, April.

Ah yes, well since I've never heard of Mike Straw I have no idea where he's getting his information from. The backside of a box of Lucky Charms? Honestly that's what it sounds like.

So the guy who started this all, Straw, has said that what he reported was the trade offer that Minn. offered to Buffalo but that the trade has not been accepted. So basically he is saying the deal on the table is Heatley, 1st round pick, Granlund or Coyle but the Sabres have not agreed to it. Again who knows.
No, let me see if I've followed this correctly, and there are those here that can jump in and fill in any holes that I may have in the time line of events.......
1. A poster known to have a couple of pieces of information about the Sabres over the years posted in a thread on another forum (not to be named) the following:
"Trade not announced during Stadium Series game, so not to distract from the event...
Done by tomorrow"
2. From there it hit tweeter, I have no idia how but a twitt by the tweeter name of SabresFrontOffice sounded the horn about a deal, said it was Miller for Rattie, Halak and a 1st.
3. Tweeter verse Miller edition explodes, going into over drive.
4. I brought it to this boards attention because of the past calls this particular individual had made.
5. We got to watch as Bob McKenzie chimed in, people waiting for morning skate report, fans eyes peeled to tweeter and message boards.
6. In short, there may still be a trade, the original posting by rabi never gave a name, team or a time frame for announcement. He merely said what is quoted above.
Does this about sum it up everyone?

All I know is twitter is exploding with question on Miller. Questions to Bob McKenzie, Daren Dreger....etc.....etc.....
That has to get back to the front offices of teams I would imagine. To what extent? I don't know, but I'm sure someone has to take note, no?

Yea, I don't even follow him/her. I just looked up their account. I pretty much only follow actual guys. A couple of beat writers, the main TSN guys, some random others that do have some insider knowledge, the buffalo beat guys (they arent great but do occasionally know things), and I follow all the NHL teams.
Like all the guys are saying, we need to see what the morning skate looks like before we will know anything. If someone isn't on the ice than we should perk up but if everyone is out and playing, more smoke than fire.
I'm surprised there has been no morning skate report yet.

If so he's tweeting he's hearing something big coming out of the Sabres, he's attempting to confirm.

I'm going to predict that this does not happen, mostly because Clifford doesn't address the Sabres' need for scoring. I think they would rather wait and see if they can do better.
Well, he posted in 2 different threads, the one about a done deal and then in another thread about Toffoli. That's why I stated way back up in the thread I was just putting 2 and 2 together. The trade rabi posted on could be something entirely different altogether. We won't know until something happens, if it happens.

Yeah, i will too be shocked if Toffoli is involved. Although, desperate times call for desperate measures. But that NHL Mayor guy, who is a legit Kings insider, still is sticking to his story that Toffoli and/or Pearson will not be moved.
Yea, he says Toffoli isn't going anywhere, especially Buffalo, that was 8 hours ago. No where do I see him state that about Vey or Pearson though.

Given all the information we currently have I believe the Sabres and Kings are going to make a trade tomorrow for Moulson. Whether or not the Sabres get Toffoli and what the entire package would be to get him remains a ?

Okay-other than his junior and AHL numbers, which are pretty impressive, what do we know about Toffoli?
He's listed as a Center on the Kings site, but a RW'er on the Hockey's Future site, but I wonder if he's been playing wing since being up with the Kings. I just don't know.

I was just joking. It'd definitely be for Moulson, I'd assume. I just spelled Moulson "Molsin" to jab at his spelling of Toffoli.

Great, just ###### great, now that blow hard McKenzie thinks he knows because he's "actually" hearing things from insiders, "real insiders" that the market for Ryan Miller is luke warm right now.
