    I long for the days of the grinders....May, Ray, Barnaby etc. They had marginal talent but the other team knew that they were in for a long night. Mute the audio. You will save brain cells.

    Myers needs to get with an old school defenseman like Mike Robitaille. He needs a mentor. The kid has talent but plays like a rudderless boat.

    I get the tank. Nolan is here to mold and develop the youth. The vets are expendable. The season was written off before it began. That being said, I would like the team to be competitive. This team is far from it. If they played Pittsburgh 80 times, the Sabres might win 5.

    The tank to bring McDavid is on. Okay, add Mcdavid to this talent and they still stink. It will take Murray 5 years to build this team into a winner. Until then I will watch and long for the glory days of the mid 70s.
