High glove side is a weakness for Sabres goalies. That was Miller's weak spot. Detroit got a gift penalty.

After first period I thought Detroit was caught flat footed. Took the Sabres lightly since they are dressing 5 AHLers. Now the second period is in the books, I think the young turks on the Sabres are playing good hockey and Detroit, getting a ton of shots, are rattled. Will the Sabres fade and lose like they did in Boston? I hope the youngsters keep up the strong play and win.

Biodork...better physical conditioning would help. He has to concentrate and his form. Regroup during play stoppages and go through the mental check list. I did that. I was average and did not play past high school but I know mental fatigue is just a factor as physical.

Yes. I was a goalie in the dark ages (1970s). He tends to drops the glove too low. It is a fatigue factor.

I like how these young guys are playing. A night after getting thumped at home to playing this well in Boston.

Gave up 5 goals in back to back games. Tank nation is happy. I felt the same way.

Too much passing around the perimeter. Real crappy effort after the PP. Lose by 4 goals at home to a road light weight. UGH.

PP looking low powered. This is nothing new. Last 2 games 9 goals against and 1 for. Yikes!

Glove side....should have had it. Game over. This team is too timid offensively to comeback from 3 down.

I like the physical play from the young guys. Hope the offensive skills blossom soon. Be aggressive in the offensive end.
