I'm sure this was limited to NHL lines, but the KML line from the Red Army deserves mention of all time greats

What size rink will the Olympics be played on? European or North American?

Wow, just wow.
Dahlin may be Phil housley, the player when he’s done. It’s time for him to show something steady inside his own blue line

Suffering from frequent migraines? Prescription X may help. Side effects may include internal hemorrhaging, growth of additional appendages or in rare instances spontaneous human combustion. Stop taking Prescription X and call your doctor if these symptoms occur.
Do not take if you're allergic to this medication

World Juniors is more entertaining IMO.
Won't miss the Olympics.
I've always loved the U20 and U18 worlds

Tuch scores 3 goals, 3 assists, knocks 2 Jackets out cold with mammoth hits and goes down the bench fighting the entire Jackets roster, beating up and disposing of each Jacket as he goes!!😁
All without getting COVID

That is worded really stupidly, but I understand it now. They have beaten Winnipeg 29 times, they have also beaten Edmonton 29 times. They have beaten other teams many more times than that.
thanks for the explanation. I was trying to draw some WHA connection

Did the team ever acknowledge a wrist injury? To the best of my knowledge his injury was never defined further than “upper body” and the wrist part was fan speculation.
Granted, how does limping result from an upper body injury?
Until this stuff came up, I always thought the “upper body injury” he suffered in he opener was a broken hand/wrist based upon the slash and length of time he was out.
clearly, the team deceived its fan base in addition to opponents. Par for the course😡

Rick Martin trivia: When he passed away (heart attack while driving) the first responder on the scene was a state trooper who pitched to Robert Redford in The Natural as a much younger man.
Wasn't that Chris Rehbaum from SJCI?

Isn't a big part of this just a bunch of players maturing at the same time? Tage, Ollie, Asplund, R2, Bjork, along with Girgs and Okposo getting healthy, and that has allowed Skinner to start to play well again. Sure system, but two years ago many of those players were not ready
Yes, which is why, although frustrating, long term it is better to keep the kids lighting up the A in Rochester this season.

I went to a couple Norsemen games - including one time they played in the Aud. It was a long time ago, but if my memory is correct, the level of play was slightly above top notch high school hockey. Glorified beer league

I'm almost 57. I will have this on the radio when I go to sleep. Kind of like I used to do as a child -- except that Ted and Rick were so far out of Dunleavy's league as announcers that he might put me to sleep. Heck, when Nixon had the wage and price freeze due to OPEC's oil embargo (speed limits cut to 50 nationwide before being upped to 55; year-around daylight savings time, etc.), there was a game in Vancouver which started at midnight. I was up for even that one. (OK, I set my alarm clock to go off at 12. I fell back asleep about 3am.) My parents were not amused at how sleepy I was the next morning.
Just turned 60 and vividly recall the transistor radio hanging on my bedpost with an earplug for west coast games - Kings, Seals, and "Nucks back then

There's no team I enjoy seeing the Sabres beat more than the Bruins. And that includes the Red Army.
Let's Go, Buffalo!
What about beating the Soviet wings?
that was as much fun as Schoeny beating the Bruins through the zamboni door

I still remember this sunday afternoon game as if I'm 14 and in my parent's basement. For some reason I still vividly recall the entire line skating up the ice and Gare wrister to win it over the vaunted Habs

It is reasonable to assume that something happened at the meeting that resulted in Eichel moving on from Fish. That makes me think that the Sabres position was solid and well understood by the people there, including the NHLPA.
Another outcome may be the league starts looking for someone to buy the team to get rid of Pegula?????

Is there an unwritten rule that we can only hire former Sabres? It’s like a person playing fantasy and only drafting players from their favorite team, but in real life.
I'm beginning to suspect the rule is written if you have access to the secret Pegula manual

Adams had better be set to go when the freeze lifts or a routine press conference that keeps him off the phone is stupid timing.

Looking at that roster they picked I don't think JBot had anything to do with player selection. perhaps his Kraken role is more on the business side of GM duties. francis has him do the boring paperwork and other stuff he doesn't want to do. Unless he's changed drastically, that was NOT a JBot team.
I suspect he’s gone back to being the cap guy. Isn’t that what his claim to fame was in Pitt?
