  1. Until Kiviharju was drafted not a single player under 5'10" was picked.
  2. Would you consider him? Asking for your opinion.
  3. Wahlberg and Mediema up front Strbak and McCarthy on the back end All 6'3" or bigger
  4. ... there's a very real world where Helenius, beats Krebs in camp. It's a long shot but not impossible.
  5. Oh very much so. 20yr old Komarov was their #1 defender.
  6. Welcome. Remember I don't know everything and to always make your own evaluation. If you look at a draft value curve so ranking all the picks from 1 to 218 or whatever, as you near the end of round 3 the curve basically goes flat. It's why I don't understand gms worried about adding a 4th to a trade to get it done, it doesn't matter in 85 out of 100 trades. There's only ever about 50-60 nhl players in a draft.
  7. Scouting reports all say yes physical. Good skater that uses his body and stick to end plays.
  8. "Brunet motors up and down the ice with a sound skating posture for a player of his 6-foot-2 size. With his skating and reach, he denies space from the opposition, closes on them in transition, and guards the front of the net. Attackers can’t go through him. He walls them off from high-danger areas. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide" https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/660791/simon-pier-brunet
  9. What's interesting about him is that he played on the same team as Komarov, so Buffalo probably got lots of looks at him.
  10. Defender 6'2" 196lb RHD
  11. 2ish per draft, well 2.3 really.
  12. They could. Could sign them after 3 years to help avoid that. CHL guys you only get 2 years, it's why botteril went all dumbass on never taken them.
  13. Take 60-70% of the pipeline, they won't matter in the NHL. Some will hit but a good portion like Kisakov will never make it.
  14. Fine fine. I don't hate it. I don't love it but this team desperately needs more hardest working.
  15. That's why they are drafting college guys. Gives them 4yrs before they need to sign them.
  16. Basically from the 4th round on, all picks have almost the same value. I know that seems strange and it is but it also is how it is.
  17. Also Osburne is a Sept 9 birthday. He's 6 days short of the 2025 draft so he's got lots of runway. I like the pick because of the upside and age part coupled with an already solid skater. Yes. Kleber and Strbak were both round 2 guys the last 2 years and are rhd. Komarov is in Rochester this year. McCarthy, college 3rd round pick last year. None are shorter than 6'3" either.
  18. Because Strbak, Komarov, Kleber, and McCarthy are all rhd.
  19. Shift by shift: Highlights:
  20. If wanna watch his shifts from 1 game If you want the highlights
  21. Yea, I'm over it. Feel better after venting and learning more but skeptical liger is skeptical Very possible. Could be fancy stats team thinks that too.
