If it was the "steroid era", can you really look at the best performers and say they weren't doping? The best argument I've heard so far, is that Bonds won 3 MVPs before his head grew 3 sizes. he could probably be voted in for his "clean" years. As far as Rose, this makes no sense to me, unless you think he bet against his team. Betting on the Reds had NO effect on the game. Steroids had a HUGE effect on the game. The hall is about the game.

My 6/2/4 schedule would limit travel the most. More games against the teams closest to you.

I would have preferred 6 games each against divisional (24), 2 against conference (20), and 4 games against the west (4). It would add 1 cross conference trip, and keep everything balanced.

If we play Boston 5 times, and they get 3 home games, they will have a distinct advantage in the division. especially if they play say MTL 5 times and OTT 4 and we end up with OTT 5 and MTL 4. All these things could mean 1-2 points which could make a huge difference. Out west it will matter even more, because where they play each game has a huge effect on Travel.

I didn't believe this, and I found ample evidence not to, but after last night, I have no doubt that LSU, Bama, and Georgia are a level above, SC, Florida, and TAMU are probably a little behind them. There is no doubt, this league should get an automatic bid to the playoffs when they start. Not that they'll need it. That said, losing bowl games to Louisville, Northwestern, and Clemson shows that outside of Alabama, they are vulnerable in any given game. Is Nick Saban the best "big game" coach in a generation?
