    Would you define "due time" as after Murray sees a Gorges-Risto pairing even after Kulikov is ready?

     

    I'm pretty sure I heard DD say that Kuli would be with Risto by the end of this trip or the first ten games or something like that so tonight's the night!

     

     

    Now we're talking about firing the coach after one game, one season after a 28 point improvement?

     

    This place has officially lost it. I used to think this place went dramatically overboard, but this is absolute silliness.

     

    I refuse to at HF because of how stupid the conversation became to me so I have to believe that people posting there lobbying to have DD fired after one of the pre season games :doh: 

     

     

    A week ago everybody was psyched about this year with most agreeing there was a legitimate chance at a playoff spot. Now it's down to Goober sucks, Kane sucks, half our defense sucks..... And it's not just because of the Either injury because there have gone several references to the first game.

     

    It's the impression I get, your results may vary. I'm not the only one. ;)

     

    This bizarro narrative playing out has to have something in common with our politics of the day doesn't it?

    - While I can see the point of those espousing patience and appreciation for getting 3 out of 4 points on a WC road trip, I still think that the point they let slip away last night is the kind of point that playoff teams lock up.  Calgary is a crappy team, and the Sabres blew 2 3rd-period leads.  That's a non-playoff-team kinda move.

     

     

    I am firmly in the happy to have 3 out of 4 points group. I'm also willing to say a lot of what happened in Calgary sucked. But I remember where we're coming from and if there's one thing the last three season's worth of have taught me, it's how to have a little patience.

    Should I post some of my and true' points in here? Because there's a lot of bitching about us bitching, but not a lot of focus on what we're saying. If points are presented that counter mine, I'll adjust my view. He would too.

    If any of that is directed at me let me say that I understand there are frustrations, and I have em too but after enduring the tank and adding dd who was the second highest profile coach, does anyone really think that DD would be under the gun here? ? ? Is that what any non laughingstock organization would think?

    We didn't get Badcock and some of this sounds like buthurt because no Badcock.I think DD has been pretty damn frustrating but I don't fault him that Ennis isn't up to speed or that Zemgus may not understand or things like that. 

     

    We're down two top players. We've got three out of four points on this roadie. After enduring the tank we're complaining already? Jeesus. I can't go all negative just yet. I need to breathe a while.

     

    P.S. Randall if that wasn't directed at me, nevermind!

    I definitely want to clarify that I'm 100% mad at Bylsma, I think Grant has done fine, everything he can do. He's been good in his PK minutes. My complaints with regard to him are solely related to his deployment, which again, he does not control.

     

    This is an absolute legitimate complaint. Much like whenever I saw Matt Ellis on the ice when I paid NHL ticket prices. That's on management. GMTM and Coach need to figure that out so you're good. Rant on!

    Randall I love your thoughts even though I may throw some water on them. DD is dealing witha  massive problem right now minus Jack, minus Kane. There is an obvious problem though if your stat is right re 5 on 3 that's really screwed up and not acceptable regardless the personel we have on the ice. it's 5 on 3!!!

     

    To those bitching about Grant, stop. If he is the new Matt Ellis I have far more confidence in him. He set somone up perfectly in front of the net who should have sored on it. He has size and I have no problem giving him 8-10 minutes a night from what I've seen.

     

    Holy after the opener against Montreal I'm pretty ok with where we are. If we beat the Canucks and come out of those three games with 5 points, shut your mouth.

    I'm not bitching about DD system or anytrhing at all really. We're in a rink we haven't won in 13 years and we have the lead. We are minus two of our top six. I am not bitching about anything. Finish this.

    I agree with Liger and think the second goal, you know that one that has us leading after two on the road out west in a place where we haven't won in 13 years? Ya that goal should be changed to Samson. He tipped it, it hits the goalie and bounces of the D so Sam is the last one to touch it. That should be changed.

     

    Lets Go Buffalo!


    I hoping that an ankle and a few ribs have some part in that.

    The following season or 2 after Las Vegas when Quebec enters the league - how's everyone feeling about expansion then?

     

     

    I don't think it'll happen that way. The Canadian dollar might be worth 50 cents by then and those teams will be hemmoraging money and not likely to go to Quebec if that is in fact the case.

    Do we honestly think Kulikov will stink this year?

     

    I feel like i have entered a parallel dimension where Matt Moulson is fanfreakingtastic and Dmitri Kulikov is awful.... the only problem is that is not what I see.

     

     

    I don't. He will be a fan favorite by the 10 or 15 game mark. My faith in GMTM would take a hit if Kuli stinks and I don't think he stinks and it's a contract year so...
