Nilsson is a solid backup
He is. But didn't you also make him the starter? I do not believe Nilsson is a starter. I would however make sure he plays every fourth game or so and if the pattern continues make it every three games.

Quick update, FWIW, my understanding is whatever dialogue VAN/BUF had on Evander Kane, and there was talk, it's no longer being pursued.
Like I mentioned earlier, Kane ain't going anywhere. Lets get him straightened out here and contributing. We'll never get the value we should so play it out and get productive here jackass.

I don't like the attitude of this team. They sound defeated in their interviews... "hold the fort down" etc... while guys are out with injury is not the right mind set. They need to focus on winning games with no excuses. You see it every game, as soon as something doesn't go their way,

This team is tanking without attempting to tank. This is the stink that don't fade away after you tank to get better. Its the bad smell that follows you out of the shittter. Worse its the smell of a shitthouse door on a tuna boat.

And Lehner is just awful. He is constantly out of position. He bit so hard on the fake on the second goal it's embarrassing. Between Lehner, Kane and the rest of this sorry squad, GMTM is looking pretty bad.
Lehner awful? cant say he is, he might have some rebound problems but other than that he is solid.
Modo, you need to understand who that comment is coming from. Promo is um, um Lunatic Fringe. Lehner was awesome again. The real shame of this season is that we are just wasting terrific goaltending whether it's Lenny or Nilsson. And for the record, I think it should be Nilson.

As others have said see below, Stu could pot a goal for us. I don't know how this guy can be Wayne Gretzky of the AHL and David Legwand at the end of his career at the same time. Just don't get it.
