    The fact that Gorges started OT (and stayed on) is mind boggling to me. Is the premise to try and kill off OT? It makes no sense, they've already earned the point that can arguably be earned with conservativeness. It only makes sense to play for the win, particularly with how bad we are in shootouts, if there is one thing Bylsma does that I cannot wrap my head around, it's that. Maybe there is a reason that it makes sense and I'm missing something.

     

     

    This I believe is the most qualified reasoning to question of just what the hell happened tonight. At least for OT. I guess if you get to OT you play for the shootout and then go in wide an slow and hope for the best!

    I fell asleep for the 3rd,the game was just so Damn boring, I was sad to see we lost, we could have stole 1 from the nucks and gotten 4 outta 6 which would have been great,especially letting the west get the extra points.

     

    Can't be doing that in the division games

     

     I did not fall asleep but wish I did. Boring I can l live with for a roadie trip. But feck me if they lose four of the next five lets say. I quit HF Boards a long time ago, I don't ever want to quit SS. But the pitchforks will win at that point. And FYI, I'm all in with Luke Richardson previously and going forward if they choose to dump the second best coach available for a never coached in the NHL type guy.

    I would traditionally call this the "easy" part of the schedule.

     

     

    Not this year man. We're getting hosed on our early season schedule. I don't recall this before. Open season at home with one game and go on western Canada roadie followed by coming home without a game and hitting the road followed by a couple quick games at home and going out west again. This is no easy schedule.

     

     

    We've should make it a habit here.

    Not to mention it's not even funny, in the slightest. When did I become the moral compass of Sabrespace. I'm the ###### that posts dick jokes all day.

     

     

    Now I didn't say if it was funny or not. But I did chuckle at  moral compass ##### that posts dick jokes all day! :w00t:

     

    On the locker room talk thing, no, we don't need to lighten up.

     

    We really do need to lighten up. Seriously. The trump comment was meant as nothing more than tie in.

    We all in Sabrespace it seems need to lighten the up. We appear ready to go after one another like the political world for some reason right now.

    I've been in locker rooms my whole life. I've never heard talk like that, at least not since I would call myself a grownup.

     

    I was actually listening when Rivet said that about the Sedins. I thought it was douchey and inappropriate. Maybe he's just still pissed at home many times they skated right around him and scored.

     

    Holy crap c'mon. You ever seen a man or boy towel whip another in a locker room? Is that bullying even if both people are laughing? Again I think we all need to lighten up. Some of you have heard much worse in a locker room or a golf course or even a schoolyard. Some apparently haven't. Holy I guess you also haven't watched tv, seen a movie or heard music since Elvis was vulgarly gyrating.

     

    And not that it matters but it was Gare that started the issue referring to the Sedin sisters. You know what's great for them if they heard any of it? It would become bulletin board material and guess what? They won! I'd be willing to bet those two guys don't give a flying about the issue anyway.

    It's worse than amateur it's misogyny. Downright degrading to women. Disparaging a man by claiming he's a woman is about as straight forward misogynistic as it can get.

     

    C'mon now ink. You're talking about locker room talk for real. Jocks talking about jocks on a jock show. Amateur hour for sure but I think this should be perfectly acceptable. Think of what they're saying in the actual locker room. Good grief we need to lighten up.
