Did the Sabres really win a Monday game? I feel like when they play on Monday/Tuesday it’s a guaranteed loss?

In the early 2010s some people blamed the home ice and that it made the Sabres slower. I feel like even now the Sabres play faster speed on the road and seem to drift at home

This has the feels of a back and forth game where Edmonton ties it at 4 with 5 seconds left in the 3rd period and we are all mad. Then In overtime on a 4 on 3 powerplay Jeff skinner scores a whacky backhanded goal on his knees or something and the place goes nuts
