The Canucks appear to be on track but I get what you are saying. The city complains about Toronto thinking its the centre of the universe as they pound their chest and act like the centre of the universe.

Its almost daily out of Vancouver. I listen to it every day at work . Believe what you want.

I literally have not seen another Sabres fan out here on the west coast in years. Undercover fans too embarrassed to wear the colours sure, maybe. But someone wearing a jersey or hat , you don’t see em. Go to a Canucks Sabres game you’ll see it but on the street no. Its been about 11 or 12 years since I shelled out the bucks to go to a game. Its terrible frickin hockey. This franchise is a literal laughing stock in these parts. The butt of the joke. On every sport radio show its common to hear the hosts bust a gut when talking about this shitshow. And I’m a fan for 45 years livin the dream. I don’t think they’ll ever get it right. So I know what people think of this team and it ain’t good but it is earned. Ownership and management have put the fans in this uncomfortable position. Its a disgrace.

I used to get all defensive when listening to sport talk radio in other cities when they joked about the incompetence of the sabres. It happens all the time. Now I find myself laughing along with them. Its kind of a crazy raspy cackle of a laugh but its laughter nonetheless. Being a fan of this team is like hitting your head against a brick wall. Imo they won’t get this right with the crew they have running the show.

Team stunk like a shithouse door on a tuna boat. Not sure what to think about Ralphs comment “ we like our team.” What is he seeing that everyone else is missing ? And is he really that much more intelligent than us ? And whats with pulling the damn goalie with 3 or 4 minutes to go with a man advantage so the other team can run up the score ? Face it Ralph. That doesn’t seem to work with this group of guys. Its obvious to everyone but you. I could understand your love affair with this strategy if it worked. It doesn’t. It is fun seeing the joy on the faces of our opponents as they pad their stats though. This bloody team.
