The D and depth of our D is highly over rated. The forwards are generally smallish and considered talented but always seem to be in an offensive funk. In a prolonged slump if you will. We are a mess. If this group of players are as good as T.P. and Regier say where does the blame fall? Am I to believe that its just a case of an entire roster being unmotivated and unprofessional ? Is Regiers ability to judge talent that off ? Is regiers ability to assemble a cohesive team capable of playing with and for each other that bad ? Where does the blame lie for this mess ? And if this team is as good as team management says why are they not able to get the best out of them. Everyone speaks about the great scouting,drafting and player development of the Sabres. If that really is the case when does that pay off? After how many years ? What does Lindy owe his longevity to as a coach and where and when did the glory years happen ? Truthfully I can't remember any. He's had some success but coaches lose their jobs all the time with better records than his. Thats my rant. Breath. Breath.

Really this is like an abusive relationship. They win and we believe they are so close to being good then they slap you in the face with their next effort. The next game they apologize by winning so we forgive them then they go and kick us in the nuts by losing. When will T.P. realize he's had the wool pulled over his eyes by Regier and Ruff ? Either we don't have the horses to win which is on Regier or we do and we can't win which is on Ruff. One or both of these guys needs to be shown the door.

Lindy is so animated on the bench. If old stoneface showed some emotion maybe his kids would play with some.

Good thing this isn't a drinking game. The next goal against would put me twice over the legal limit.

That was my point. I'll put that on the coach. If he can no longer get these guys ready for a game and come out with energy and a game plan that doesn't involve sitting back and letting your goaltender bail you out then maybe its time to go. Unfortunately for us you can't fire the whole team.

does this organization employ a team psychologist ? If so can you send him over to my house. But seriously. If T.P. doesn't have a team psychologist on the payroll he had better add one for the likes of Myers and others who seem to be struggling with issues.
