I agree with all of this. Lived through the years of craptastic never good enough to truly compete ,just barely good enough to make the playoffs. Hate that shite. I want this team to roll out 4 lines that chew up other teams. I want other teams to try to model themselves after the Sabres. Drafting at the top of the draft this year coupled with shrewd later round drafting, good scouting and development, good hockey trades and ufa signings will get us there. It seems like a tall order and maybe a pipe dream but it can happen.

yeah. Lets be honest. As fans we no little to nothing about what goes on in the locker room, Murrays head or his office. Last year he was pretty transparent and open with the media. This year its like he's been on a leave of absence which may have something to do with his uncles sickness ? But we are no where near 60% knowledge about what goes on with this team behind closed doors. 15 % MAYBE. And most of that is hearsay and innuendo.

Enroth has 100 or more games under his belt which imo is desirable over Neuvirths paltry amount of games. They'll be calling for Enroth if anyone. If he can play the way he's playing in front of this Sabres team he should do the same or better in front of a playoff caliber team.

It'll be interesting to watch the Flames Johnny Gaudreau . Johnny Hockey is fast and fearless going to the dirty areas that many big men won't go to. Things get exciting when he has the puck. Maybe Nikita lights him up ? As always, GO SABRES !

The game gets exciting offensively basically any time the D go deep into the opponents zone. Myers and Risto seem to lead the charge in this regard and I'm up outa my seat each time. The excitement level when the forwards try to bring it in just doesn't seem to get there. Except maybe Ennis or Girgs.

Great team building win over the champs. Tyler Ennis with a big hit on Dustin Brown was the kicker for me. Zadorov played a big game with some timely hits as well. Thats what ya want Yoda ?

Its no surprise that they were both influenced by Zep. Figure it out by Royal Blood especially comes to mind for me as it borrows heavily on the Zep formula.

I have read that Vancouver has been sniffing around. That and their lack of depth on D with injuries make it a good fit.

It feels great actually leading in some categories for once. For years as a Sabres fan I'd follow stats and never find any categories that we actually led. Oh there were a few to be sure. When Hasek was in his prime he led the league in a few stats. When LaFontaine and Mogilny played together we led in some stats but not like this year. This year we are rockin it as far as leading some big asss categories. I feel so much pride.

Hopefully he's wrong. Stewart always seems to be engaged on the bench. Nothing stands out to me but I never really looked for it. My guess is he may have tweeked something .

Not sure the reason for the outrage. I watched the video and it wasn't making light of any deaths. During the winter months the news feed out here on the best coast often make light of our weather as opposed to Toronto and highlight the fact that we're quite often still golfing while they're digging out. All in good fun . Perhaps TPegs is too sensitive ? A good way to hit back at the Panthers org. is to highlight on the jumbotron the sabres full capacity crowd as compared to the empty seats in Florida and make light of that next time they play in Buffalo.
