They have said they take best player available hence all the D men that happened to be better than the forwards at those picks according to the judgement of his scouts. Did he avoid CHL players at those picks that his scouts had rated as BPA ? Not likely if what he says about BPA is true.

For now I'll defer to JBotts reasoning for this strategy. After all, he's had some level of success in this business. I haven't. Armchair or otherwise.

This is what happens when men don't talk things out like men when the wives claws are out. Not sure if its insensitive to say that but meh. Sometimes men have to sort it out instead of hiding behind they're wives skirts.

Thats where I'm at. I need to see steps forward. This past season was a disappointment because it was a step in the wrong direction. Dahlin takes some of the sting off of that but moving forward I want to see incremental steps to becoming a team that competes each and every night.

No way I trade him at the draft. This kid makes everyone talk about Buffalo ( the team ) in a good way. He'll put us in every conversation going forward. I guess McDavid is the only one if I had to trade him.

Yeah I've seen that. Puts a human face to the problems with concussions and head trauma. I don't know a lot about Nick Boynton or if he's had troubles with concussions but that could be the case here. He played hockey for a long time.

They say when a celebrity commits suicide the rate of suicides go up 10%. Something that Boynton has done that is probably the hardest thing to do is reach out. Hopefully his family and close friends/ex team mates step up and show support which I'm sure they'll do.
