I didn't expect to beat the Bruins. Not sure why everyone forgot that we were dead furken last the season before this. Huge changeover this offseason and it will take some time to come together. The Canucks meanwhile, who many are predicting a bottom 3 finish potted 5 on Calgary in their home opener. Their fans were practically planning the parade route after that win. I've been using chromecast for some time now and its not bad. I'm only using it for netflix from the wifes Ipad or for putting the phone screen on the t.v. I'm a little techchallened.

Funny but had you not said so I wouldn't have known that was Robin. Thats on me I guess but without seeing the pads he could be any of the isles players. Perhaps in a Sabres jersey it would have been apparent. Glad he's reached out and is getting the help he needs. I can fully imagine how terrible it would have been had he done harm to himself or his family last season. I'm hoping he turns his life and career around.

I live right downtown in the old city quarter so I am safe. Not sure the distance in kms maybe 30-35 or so away and its been moving the other direction. We wake up to the smell of smoke every morning. Last night I was watering the wifes gardens and I virtually soaked down the entire property its been so tinder dry here. All these fires have been human caused so the proximity of the side walk out front of the house scares me a little what with the buttheads throwing their cigarettes everywhere. People are strange. Still seeing xxxxxxxx throw their butts out of the window on the highway. We've had one support worker for the firefighters die already.

Ya that was them. They all had the same brand of sneakers ( not sure which ones,lol ) but I've often wondered if they made their destination. They were all laid out peacefully dead on bunk beds in white outfits that looked oddly enough space worthy. Well not space suits but outfits designed for lounging on the bridge or at the controls of a comet. Not sure what part the sneakers played other than another form of control by their leader.

The strangest has to be the cult with the sneakers who were going to meet the comet. What a hoot. Honestly, I couldn't fall for that shite.

I picked Skinner despite loving the type of game Kane is capable of playing. I've always been partial to the big bad dog that can hurt you in the trenches or on the scoreboard. That being said Skinner is our guy now. I moved on from Kane and am excited about how JBott has retooled this squad this off season. It'll be interesting the next time we play the Sharks.

I also heard today on Vancouver radio that Benning went over Linden and got his extension from the owner himself sidestepping the chain of command. Not sure of the validity of that one but its being thrown around.
