I have no expectations that they’ll win this but they aren’t at home so 🤷🏻♂️. Anyway, Go Sabres. Pull up your big boy panties and git er done.

KA deserves the scorn of fans aka the hot seat as well.

This team is a reflection of Don Granado. They fit his personality to a T. KA doesn’t get a pass. The makeup of this team is on KA as are the contracts he hands out. Terry Pegula doesn’t get a pass. He signs off on all decisions. Apparently the man is a moron. That shite flows downhill. They want to build a team that competes for the cup on a yearly basis but they can’t win more than two in a row or even make the playoffs. What is going on?

I'm sure Granato will like the "effort". Maybe one day, he'll actually like the "result".
Not with him at the helm

TNT sans confidence is lost. His problems are all in his head. Methinks he’ll always be streaky unless he gets it figured out.

I get that to an extent. But the flip side is that we are approaching March and this team hasn’t won 3 games in a row all season.
Even if the Sabres were a top 3 team in the league the last 13 years, that kind of overall performance deserves boo’s.
Yeah thats what I’m saying. If you are here in the present you can change things up. Put in the effort and get it done. That goes for management as well. No excuses.

Calm down with the four in a row crazy talk. That would require having 3 in a row for the first time this year
Agreed. It ain’t happening. We know what they are. There’s no switch to flip with this team. They aren’t built that way.

Could you imagine being a fan on the left coast having to tune in at 9:30 am?
I just roll out of bed. Easy peasy.

This action or reaction by the players speaks to the level of desperation they are feeling in their need to turn a bad season around. I mentioned it upthread but they are at the ‘ us against the world ‘ stage of desperation. Its another lost season. Theres no getting it back. Its over. I’m not sure who it was, maybe Okposo but someone close to the team recently asked people to go easy on these guys most of them weren’t around for the 13 years. I would reply that they are here now. In the present where they can actually make a difference and stop this aweful streak. Get er done boys. If you have to pull out the ‘ us against the world ‘ card you’d better not fold until you finish the job.

Not sure anyone has mentioned it but the stick salute is a thing in Europe and carried over to the NHL when the Euro heavy teams adopted the tradition. Rather than the salute I’d like to see the players came onto the ice in the first period ready to compete and lay it all out there for the fans but more importantly for their own pride. I mean what better way to collectively give the paying fans the middle finger than to come out flat every single home game. I could care less that they choose not to acknowledge the fans with the salute. Give me some effort and compete when it matters. From the first puckdrop. I’ll also add that the us against the world is from the coaching 101 handbook. All coaches resort to that tactic in some form or another.

Anybody know Roy Buchanan? Criminally underrated guitar player. A blues player that was at his best playing live. Known for incredible tone and unique picking styles to get those tones. Give it some time if you can. If you play guitar then you really need to listen to some of Roy's work.
The great Jeff Beck was greatly influenced by Roy, and Jeff dedicated a song to him on his Blow by Blow album.
I’ve got a couple of his albums. Some great stuff but like you said under rated by a lot of fans but amongst guitar greats he’s lauded.

Recently watched a few of Dons pre and apres game talks to the team. Believe me I’d tune this guy out as well. Reminds me of a politician that always sidesteps the question. They can say so many words that really don’t say anything at all. This is Donnie. I’m sorry because by all accounts he’s a great guy but he is a straight line of emotion.

Is Zemgus Girgensons or Jeff Skinner going to break the NHL record for most games played without making the playoffs?
Yes

KA and the concept of blocking. Its the most ridiculous thing in sports. Teach these kids to earn their spot like literally every other team in sports. I can’t stand this b.s.

Anyone got a Simpsons likeness for Brindamour ? His mug looks like the perfect model for the show.
I have to add that he’d be my choice for coach.

Thats it then. KA doesn’t have to change a thing.😉

I try not to get too caught up on when they’ll make the playoffs. Cup ? Wtf lol. Making the playoffs is a low bar for me. It should be the expectation for this team going forward but imo KA has other plans. He seems to think its too early to make the playoffs. Content to sit on his hands while Rome burns. But I do enjoy watching the odd win. Its the mounting losses and more importantly how they lose that grates me. But what can ya do? Its out of our control.
