  1. They won't even look at it.

If this isn't intent to injure I don't know what is… SCUM!!! Coward

Incredible. Best part is marchand ready to explode in the opposite direction thinking he has a quick rush…Datsyuk just says nuh uh uhhh! :flirt: See yaaaaa. Snipe. Celly. Actually no celly. he's been there before

  2. HAHA…go home bruins fans.

Such BS…you know if that was john scott or pat kaleta who did what Lucic did thats all they'd be talking about right now and easily would get suspended. My guess is a 10000$ fine er slap on the wrist. ZERO chance they suspend him. So corrupt

  3. All I know is that some day the Sabres are going to be in the Finals. Game 7, 2OT. Tyler Myers is going to accidentally mail a puck over the glass and old man Thomas Vanek is going to score the game winner on the subsequent power play.

I don't want that. No one does.

hahaha no doubt. And they almost just got called for it again which would've put the hawks on a 5 on 3. i hate the call when the puck is bouncing or in the air and its whacked out of play. those are just unlucky

not sure how to post a GIF like 26 does, but heres the nut grab hahah

  4. I would like to get Bennett, so of course i picked the Panthers to draft him. Picking a defender so high is just too risky…I think they pass on Ekblad and take bennett who could play wing for them. You only get so many pick in the top 3 (Unless you're edmonton). You need more forwards than defenders, and elite forwards are usually found in the top tier in the draft. I don't think you pass up the opportunity, though I do hope i am wrong and they take Ekblad. If they don't take him, I see us either trying to trade with edmonton or calgary so they can draft him, or taking him ourselves. If we trade with edmonton i think we pick reinhart.

  5. Miller getting smoked. What a pass by Toews on the Kane breakaway. Seemed like Miller was as deep as you can be in your crease on that second goal. i don't know a thing about goaltending so maybe thats where he was supposed to be since the puck was behind the net but I'm used to seeing him challenge more than that

Miller wasn't even kind of ready for that. Was still setting up by the time Kaner shot it.

Yeah he didn't even move it was weird to see haha

  6. If Garth is supposedly thinking of keeping this years pick to use as trade bait, would you trade the hoff for the 5th straight up? It will make them a better team next year and lower our chances at an extra lottery pick but I still think I would do it.

I doubt that would happen considering he already turned down signing with the islanders before we signed him, and would reject a trade there even though I'm sure he wants off this team too. (I may be mistaken but I think he has some sort of no trade clause). But if we didn't have that barrier I'd absolutely make the trade. Cap recapture is another issue

  7. Another homesick Euro-pu$$y. I wonder how much Leino's experience influenced his feelings about the organization. Compare this to Girgs, a European that embraces the challenge. Sure, he's been in the States longer and has had more of a chance to get acclimated, but still. Maybe Teppo can calm his Finnish-a$$ down before he has a full-blown panic attack. Would suck to lose that high a pick before he had a chance.

    GO BILLS!!!

Teppo is gone as of today lol…wonder if that has anything to do with it? It sure would suck to lose him for nothing. we should look at Hayes in any case

Porter lights the lamp 2 minutes into the game

NVM I guess Deslauriers tipped it. His first as an Amerk

NVM AGAIN!! Porter gets the goal from Catenacci

  8. Armia not on the ice for warmups…there were some rumblings today that he is very unhappy in Rochester and is homesick…and he either wants to be traded or getting playing time on the Sabres and is considering moving back to Finland. Don't know how true any of this is as the link provided was in finnish

  9. I think it will be interesting next year if it comes down to the last game or two to decide who the worst team in the league is...for example what If it was between us and Florida, and we were playing Eachother the last game of the season for last place in the NHL. Would you have a South Park little league baseball type of performance where both teams try as hard as they can to lose? Probably not since the players don't care and want to win, like tim Murray said. But it absolutely would be interesting to watch. Getting that last pick guarantees u either mcdavid or eichel. I will be a nervous wreck if we are sitting in second place at the end of next season

  10. Imagine the Islanders defer, suck bad next year. So the NYI finish say 7th and then win the lottery... we finish last and therefore own the 1st overall and 2nd overall picks in 2015.

or, why no go bigger and have the isles and the sabres finish 29th and 30th, and the blues finish one spot out of the playoffs (after winning the cup this year) and win the lottery with their 0.5% chance, giving us the 2nd, 29th, 31st this year, and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 31st, and 32nd next year…what? I'm dreaming? NOOOO DONT WAKE ME UP!!!

  11. So if you're the Islanders, your choice comes down to getting Micheal Dal Colle (probably) or giving up on McDavid (and really anything in the 1st round for the deepest draft in years).

If I'm them, I still keep the pick. Dal Colle is a great prospect. Also, flipping that pick for an NHL player would get them value and probably make next year's pick (which would be ours) less valuable.

It sucks being in a position where your best hope is that your competition does the dumbest thing possible.

I kind of like the idea that i will have another huge interest in watching a team next year…ill probably be rooting for them to lose more than I'm rooting for the sabres to win…in fact, ill probably be rooting for both teams to lose! :w00t: I also think it would be awesome if the sabres and the isles were the two worst teams in the league next year. Not only would it guarantee us one of mcdavid/eichel, and give u a 50/50 shot at both, but i think it would be hilarious to watch the lottery on tv and possibly have it come down to the top 2, which would both be the sabres haha. So, we have the sabres and the sabres, who's it gonna be folks?

  12. I can't envision a scenario where the Islanders give us the 5th overall pick how do you convince a fan base & the front office that giving away a pick that high is worth it to only have a shot at some 2 revolutionary players next season? Plus if next season did go down hill for them it kind of looks like they were tanking despite having a promising team only 2 years before that would look pretty bad for them and definitely Garth Snow

Because if they win McDavid but the pick is ours it will go down as one of the biggest blunders in NHL history. And the pressure to win next year will be monumental and distracting if they pick this year. Can you imagine if they are one of the worst teams half way thru the season? what do they do…sell off and get worse, making their (our) draft pick even better and increasing their chances of giving us mcDavid? especially when teams are not going to give much away in a deep draft. Also worth mentioning we have their 2nd round pick too in 2015. If they suck next year, they'll be without a high 1st AND 2nd round pick in a very deep draft. That will set them back even further, and a tough sell to get fans excited for the season in Brooklyn.

That being said, i also expect them to pick this year as well but i don't think it is as cut and dried as it seems
