how many pull ups was average for the combine and what were the top reps? i thought i read 8 somewhere for the top but I could be mistaken. ill agree that one pull up is pathetic but to not draft a guy solely because of it is ridiculous. pull ups do not take long to get good at. i bet within a month, possibly even two weeks bennett could be up with the best of em doing around 8 pull-ups. this really isn't a big deal in my opinion

Prince Obyron was sure interested in Tyrions request for trial by battle. Which is something I look forward to.

This is going to be an interesting draft because people keep saying Florida needs defense but that doesn't mean Florida takes Ekblad or even keeps the pick. I don't see the Islanders giving us their pick this year as they already started to try to fix one of their issues. Plus who knows if the Islanders are willing to move up and take Reinhart that way they have 2 of the brothers on the same team. Edmonton could really use Ekblad but would have to move up to secure him. The Sabres lack offensive firepower in the worst possible way. Plus throw in St Louis on what to do with Miller and u have a ton of question marks. This draft isn't the greatest anyways and I would be pissed if we selected a german with just average skating ability. The focus should be on getting guys who can skate, have a high hockey IQ, have skill and a strong work ethic. It's going to be very interesting this year for Buffalo maybe one of the most important offseasons in franchise history.
I still have a feeling the panthers would take Bennett, and I hope that's not the case because I'd prefer him although reinhart is a close second so I wouldn't be devastated. I just hope Timmy gets the guy he wants. But hopefully it's one of the sams

If you're a free agent and you get a phone call at the same time from both the Islanders and the Blackhawks, which one do you answer?
obviously the blackhawks, unless you want an uncontested #1 started position, which he'd have in NYC, or if he just loves the city. Buttt….if he is unsure about the islanders at all, he still has the option to wait to hear offers once he hits free agency if he wants to. thats the thing. sure they can start contract negotiations now and maybe sign him, but if Halak says Im going to wait until free agency to listen to any offers and then ill decide, then you wasted a 4th round pick for nothing

Caps announced they've traded pending UFA netminder Jaro Halak to Islanders for a 4th-round pick.
i don't really understand why any team ever trades for the negotiating rights to a player, when that player could just walk in a 2 months for nothing, but that being said i think the isles will be able to sign him and he's a good fit. Caps now are without Neuvirth and Halak. Who do they have behind holtby? do they make a run at hiller? miller?

Also I would have Cersi higher, maybe 3rd or 4th. They could replace her with Keira Knightley and i wouldn't know the difference

Either way i don't think its a major major loss. were looking at not having a very late 1st rounder vs a mid 2nd plus the 1st pick of the 3rd? id rather have the 1st rounder but not devastating
