Not good at all...so who do we blame? Poile for the team he put together and decisions that were made? Bylsma for the coaching? just the players in general? Or all three?
-
This is embarrassing. Not blaming quick since we can't score to save our lives but that first goal he have up was pretty weak
-
Roenick starting off the broadcast by saying the slash last night was the worst call he has ever seen in professional hockey. Love it. No doubt about it
-
This game was awesome but the refs completely took that away in the overtime. The slashing make up call was the worst call I have ever seen in my life. ###### not fair to the women
-
This game is absolutely nuts
-
Legggoooo LATVIJA!!!'n
-
Girgs almost with a nice assist, then takes a penalty right after :(
-
he has already dominated there, so I am not really impressed. I am much more interested in how he comes into camp and how he plays in the AHL/NHL next year
True I think everyone is. But it's definitely better than him sucking in the Q
-
Grigorenko had 2 goals and 2 assists tonight
-
Ugh! Girgensons with a blast off the crossbar with 3 minutes left. Really unlucky he's had about 3-4 glorious chances this game
-
As an American, how does Latvia doing well turn out bad for us?
PS 2-1 now.
I think it's just most believing that the suiss have a better chance of upsetting canada tomorrow than Latvia, which would help us because then we wouldn't have to play canada in the semis

@SabresProspects: Nikita Zadorov 1+1, Brady Austin five-game point streak snapped as London double Oshawa 6-3. Zadorov: 10-13-23 +20 in 25gp. Austin now +42.
@SabresProspects: Nick Baptiste gets two more goals plus an assist to lead Sudbury past Mississauga 4-1. Baptiste: 37-36-73, 17 goals in last 18gp. #Sabres
Baptiste on fire! Zadorov keeps it up. Exciting stuff ????

I think if you were to rerank 2013 this offseason based on the seasons that the prospects have had the top ten would look like this:
1. Nathan MacKinnon.
2. Seth Jones
3. Aleksander Barkov
4. Jonathan Drouin
5. Sean Monahan
6. Anthony Mantha
7. Darnell Nurse
8. Nikita Zadorov
9. Elias Lindholm
10. Rasmus Ristolainen
Like others have said nichusckin has to be on there. Still wish we got him and zadorov or even mantha and zadorov but I do still like risto a lot. Just want a great forward prospect

wow just watched US vs Russia curling and of course Shuster blew it AGAIN! i never watch curling except for the olympics but every time i do i watch this guy blow it for the team. SO frustrating to watch
-
omg
that sucks
-
Should have taken that backhand. Instead, he fed Ozolins.
Agreed, still a nifty pass though. Robbed by the post. I like that he crushed the guy into the boards still after the miss
-
wow girgensons a monster…almost had it!
-
Latvias jerseys are nice, though the fake lace on the neck is still dumb

Kris Baker @SabresProspects 22m
Nick Baptiste gets a goal and two helpers as Sudbury rolls past Niagara 7-1. Baptiste: 50gp 32 goals (t-10th in OHL), 66 pts (t-15th).
Mike Harrington @BNHarrington 3m
Connor McDavid had FIVE assists tonight at Erie beat London, 7-2, in the OHL. Nikita Zadorov had was minus-1 for London. #Sabres #tanking

Above you will find the predictions for a full 68 game junior season from some of the top prospects. For those who have played additional games I have adjusted those numbers. I also added in Jake Virtanen.
Michael Dal Colle: 32g, 42a, 74pts, 52gp = 42g, 55a, 97pts, 68gp
Sam Bennett: 28g, 47a, 75pts, 45gp = 42g, 71a, 113pts, 68gp
Sam Reinhart: 25g, 45a, 70pts, 41gp = 41g, 75a, 116pts, 68gp
Jake Virtanen: 32g, 18a, 50pts, 53gp = 41g, 23a, 64pts, 68gp
That is the update from the last time I did this. Sometime after the Olympics perhaps I will do it again for fun.
What if the Islanders defer. Next year we suck again and finish last by a couple of points. The Islanders finish 4/5th and win the lottery. We then draft 1st and 2nd overall. McDavid and Eichel become Buffalo Sabres... #winning
Not that it probably makes a major difference, but is there a way to show primary assists vs secondary assists? points are points but i feel like a primary assist is worth a little more than a secondary on most goals, so i was wondering if there was a huge primary/secondary ratio difference between the top guys anywhere
-
hahahahah of course. weber on the ice, he's driving the tank! poor enroth tho wow
-
YES! STafford! Trade value increased. love this roll he's on perfect timing
-
That would take away Moulson to LA then.
No worries, theres a dozen other teams interested in him…. I hope…

How about this?
A tank within a tank. Its beautiful. I call it, Tankception
GDT FINLAND v USA

0 goals in two games with the amount of talent the US has is ridiculous. Everything we do is along the boards until we have to fire it at the net where it usually gets blocked or misses the net
