    They have offensive talent but we need to see them skating hard. Too much coasting at times and far too much individual play.

    This is my take on the game. Not enough hustle. This offense is talented but they need to play as a unit and get in hard on the forecheck. Rosto needs to move the puck up the ice quicker and the defense has to stop pinching in so much. Their not fast enough to get back. I thought Zemgus hustled a lot tonight but this team has to play as a team too much individual play. If they skate hard the best Ottawa. I guess that's where I'm frustrated.

    These guys need to skate. I'm getting pissed, move for Christ sakes. They need to get in hard on the forechecking and pressure their defense. Too much floating around.

    Lucky you we moved away from Buffalo in 89 and I have followed them religiously since we moved. I follow all the games on directv and listen still on wgr. The last two years was absolutely brutal to watch but it was all worth it. This team is going to be exciting to watch and I think this team can make the playoffs this year. It looks like we have 4 solid lines. Plus with Bailey, Bapiste, Rodrigues, Fasching coming up still this is going to be a great team for a long time.

    I don't think the playoffs are out of the question. Murray will address defense and goaltending if need be and this team has a ton of new faces that can actually contribute. I like what I've seen in preseason. I can't wait for the season to start. Plus we actually have excellent coaches in Buffalo and Rochester.

    I agree I expect good things out of Foligno and Deslauriers this year. I think we will probably see Folignos best year point wise.

    That's what I've been thinking. I want Larsson in full time with maybe Legwand getting games from other players.

    I'm glad this is preseason because I wasn't to thrilled about trading a first for a goalie that was on the outs in Ottawa. But I'm not gonna ride this guy off until we see him in regular season games. We should know what we have by game 40. Not just you buddy. Not many were thrilled by that trade.

    I agree with this. If he makes it full time into the nhl he's gonna have to work on some stuff.

    Larsson I want in full time. The guy just plays hard in all 3 zones. He fore checks hard and he back checks the same way.

    Bennett is a very good skater but one thing I seen with him is he plays hard but also puts himself in situations where he is absorbing some really hard hits. You take to many of those you are gonna be on the IR a lot.

    Besides Gorges and Carlo is any of those defenseman that played tonight going to be on the Sabres full time. I'm guessing no! I'm not to thrilled about Legwand at all.

    Eichel's first two steps are better than most veterans. Plus his vision is outstanding. You look at most top picks especially Eichel and McDavid their skating is better than most vets.

    I Agree. I still believe he needs to get stronger and more work on that skating. We know he's smart but I think he's not ready. I know it's early in the preseason but if this guy is going to to be one of your top two centers of the future he needs to work on that skating.

    I just hope they don't pick any of those songs and listen to the majority of the fans. They really should have hands box with none of those songs.

    I personally like the Ducks goal song but we can't use that one. Habs goal song is terrible.
