What could we realistically expect as a return if we we’re to trade Dahlin? He’s very young so we should be patient but we do have a bunch of LD already and we could certainly use another impact forward.

Rumor has it that Kane has Buffalo and Winnipeg as two of the three places he can be traded to!
I guess it is really only a one city trade? Rangers? Canucks?
Vegas baby Vegas

He’s there to bring toughness I guess. In today’s NHL he’s a waste of a roster spot. If we need to add a tough first player, he should at least add some offense.
I hear Evander Kane is available 😏

The attendance is really depressing. This team is much improved and exciting to watch. Hopefully fans will return.

While I like Power, Michigan’s talent superiority is ridiculous. When he comes to the Sabres he’s in for a rude awakening.

I’m very disappointed in the picture quality of ESPN plus. I’m watching oilers rangers and it’s like non HD. ZIbanejad is playing great.

Miami will be a contender next year for the division if the trade for Watson goes through. He’s about every bit as good as JA. We better win it all this year. It won’t be easy anymore.
I think it’s far more likely that Flores and the GM get fired after this season.

Ecklund says Eichel to St Louis. FWIW

How many more wins until Eichel says he wants to remain a Sabre ?

He definitely didn't like Sam. Found him annoying.
But man he hates Jack. Just effin hates him.
I never felt that Paul hated Jack or Sam. He definitely felt and stated that Sam was rude to the media but I never felt dislike for Jack. Paul stated that Jack was not an elite leader like a Messier but that is far from hatred.

Jeffrey Simmons is a monster. He is one of the best DT in the league. He threw Dawkins to the ground like he was a rag doll. Running Josh right at Simmons was a big mistake. I think the sneak would have worked if they had gone away from Simmons.

Wasn't Fentanyl one of the drugs Lehner blasted NHL teams for handing out unprescribed? I don't remember.
I don’t think so. It’s extremely addictive. I remember Ambien being mentioned.

Beane's drafting
2017 - White (star), Zay Jones (traded), Dawkins (starter), Milano (star), Peterman and Vellejo - all 6 currently in the NFL w 3 Bills starters - Jones only real disappointment. Grade A (Missing on Jones only negative)
2018 - Allen (Star), Edmunds (star), Phillips (depth), Taron Johnson (starter), Neal (key depth), Teller (Browns starter), McCloud (Pitt return specialist) and Proehl - Only Proehl never played in the NFL. 2 All-Pros and 3 key depth. Only real mistake was losing Teller. Grade A++
2019 - Oliver (starter), Ford (benched), Singletary (part time starter), Knox (becoming a star), Joseph, J Johnson (depth), D Johnson (Carolina depth), Sweeney (depth). - All but Joseph in the NFL. 6 current Bills with Oliver and Knox having the most impact. Grade B+ (Ford drops grade and Singletary also looks like he is losing his job)
2020 - Epenesa (Key Depth), Moss (Starter), Davis (Key Depth), Fromm (practice squad QB), Bass (Star kicker), Hodgins (practice squad), D Jackson (depth). Whole draft part of the organization. Grade B+ but could become an A as Moss and Epenesa improve their status. Moss looks primed to be the No. 1 running back. Bass was worth the pick.
2021 - Rousseau (starter), Basham (depth), Brown (starter), Doyle (depth), Stevenson (IR), Hamlin (depth), Wildgoose (PS), Anderson (lost to Philly). Rousseau looks like a stud, Brown has been awesome since becoming a starter. Grade A
Honestly, the only 2 guys who Beane has "missed" on are Ford and Zay Jones. Ford still has a chance to become a good player and Zay is still in the NFL. This is really impressive. 12 starters (5 pro-bowl caliber players, plus 6 key depth players. 37 picks overall with 31 NFL players plus 1 IR and 4 PS players. Only 5th round Vosean Joseph and 7th round Austin Proehl not in the NFL. Wow.
Beane wasn’t involved in 2017 draft.

He had a poor combine.

Why wouldn’t minimizing the risks be paramount if Eichel was gonna be a part of things moving forward? Seems even more of a reason to minimize the risk.
I think if they knew he wanted to be a Sabre, they would have appeased him.

If the Situation was different where Jack and the Sabres were on good terms and He was still a major apart of the Sabres Future moving forward, would the Sabres Stance on Jack having the ADR be different?
Absolutely. I suspect that Jack had already asked for a trade before his injury. Once KA realized that Jack wasn’t part of the future, minimizing the financial consequences and risks of the injury became paramount.

Bucci made the game much more enjoyable. We need an announcer with that level of excitement when RJ retires.
