  1. Oh darn, and here I was hoping he'd end up retiring and rid of us that nice albatros contract Regier gave him :wallbash:
  2. Yeah, didn't watch either, so I can't really comment.
  3. No argument there. Regier is turning into the master of piss-poor contracts.
  4. For once, don't let Staal do as he pleases.... Please.
  5. Pooch got his eye on that slice :w00t:
  6. That said, I think he responded well.
  7. I really have to say, I like the hustle I've seen more and more lately. Also, their breakouts have become much better, a lot of 3-4 foot passes in their own zone, instead of passing to a guy standing still on the boards, or one guy trying to skate the puck out himself, from below the circles. Players fighting for every loose puck, Myers going down to save a sure goal with the puck caught in his skates in the 2nd - Two weeks ago, that's a sure goal off one of countless defensive goofs.
  8. Here's what I think Darcy has done well, and it can be boiled down to a few simple trades. simply because he's lousy in managing the roster he has. He overpays for favorites, hangs on to them for way too long until they either walk for nothing, or their value has hit rock bottom. Barnaby for Barnes = Good deal, Barnes could still play the game, and clearly Barnaby didn't want to be here anymore. Wilson and a pick for Warrener = Absolute steal, Wilson was a bust if ever ther was one, and Warrener was in his prime. Gratton for Briere = Good deal, but overshadowed by the fact that Gratton was brought in for three players, including Corey Sarich. Still a steal though, as Gratton was a huge bust. Warrener and Reinprecht for Drury and Begin = Well, let's just call it Warrener for Drury. Good deal, was sad to see Warrener go, but Drury turned out to be something this team sorely needed after Peca left. Drafted guys like Pominville, Vanek, Myers etc., but overpaying for each and everyone takes away from the positives. That's about all I feel he's done well over the years, and for everyone of those deals, there's a bad deal and an overpaid stiff.
  9. Same here. I suppose we should be happy he seems to care now, but I rather just feel angered he didn't care earlier. Stafford's been on my "dump 'em" list for years, as a close runner-up to Derek Roy.
  10. At this point, I'd settle for Miro Satan.....!! :wallbash:
  11. This. I *think* I've saw a little more effort the past two games, at least there was some effort till the 2-0 goal last night, which seemed to make everyone quit. Either that, or I'm just imagining it. But by god, this team is horrible on offense, and althought the D seems a little tighter, they're still suspect at best.
  12. We should be so lucky.
  13. Going from bad to worse. Our offense is non-existent, which isn't that strange seeing as we usually only have control of the puck in the offensive zone, some 5 seconds at a time. Impressive.
  14. Took the liberty of adding this.
  15. Ray just blasted them for not showing any emotion, or even looking upset at the result.
  16. I honestly think I have a harder one-timer than Weber.
  17. Tick tock, Darcy.
  18. That scares me quite a bit too.
  19. That has to be the silver lining in all of this - Darcy getting the boot in the off-season.
  20. Booed off the ice again boys, impressive....
  21. Same old, same ######.
  22. Did we have ANY zone time at all, besides the two PP's?
  23. God, I'm sick of seeing Drew Stafford dig for a puck in his own zone, only to see the oppositions come away with it.......
  24. That's a big-ass, kinda nasty looking kitty right there....!!
