The only POSSIBLE argument for best goalie ever on the planet, and I still reject it, is Tretiak. Hasek is the best goalie ever to play in the NHL, hands down, and NHL Network knows it. It also knows that it gets eyeballs on screens with controversy. I'm ok with Miller not making top 40, but not ok with Barasso making it in his stead. Miller was better.

Every person, save one, who buys one of those 50/50 tickets at any Sabres game, is a donor, and this goes back well before the Pegulas. I still don't know what the true charitable effect of the "Sabres Foundation" is and I still don't donate to it, through 50/50 or otherwise.

I'm not sure what a URI is, but they initially tested him for a pneumothorax (obviously negative). Since I've had one of those, that would have been my "jump to conclusion" as well. But I'm not a medical professional. I'm just a guy who blew a lung out 25 years ago. He also is not in New York state, where we have better hospitals, better physicians, and overall better quality of care than some other places.

So I learned a few days ago that my cousin has it. He's been discharged from hospital and is doing ok. He had a lot of trouble breathing and was misdiagnosed when he first went to the doctor.

If the league makes any change that lowers Detroit's chance of winning, I'll have to rethink my whole life. Again.

I'm not sure about Intellivision, but here is a load of console classics from the late '70s to '90s: https://archive.org/details/consolelivingroom I never rode those bikes, is what I'm trying to say. I topped out with Sega Genesis: one direction pad and three buttons. Controllers today have two joysticks, four buttons, four triggers, and probably other stuff, from what I observed while trying to play Call of Duty recently. (No, I did not fare well.) But there will be Mario Kart tonight!

I'm not much of a gamer. But tonight, I plugged in my Wii (PA and Ink, just resist the urges) for the first time in a while. I love Mario Kart. I love Tiger Woods '08 golf. I even love the baseball game that came with the system. These are not games from my childhood (Atari and Intellivision and NES would be); these are just fun. I try to play games on friends' Xbox or Playstation or whatever and just can't. It's such a giant learning curve with so many control options. I'm glad the Wii still works!

Let's not be gross right now. It's bad enough.
