Tim Graham has a tweet out there that Raccuia is selling AdPro Sports to Legends (the company that will handle concessions at the new stadium), which certainly would explain his departure from PSE.

Applying your most recent language to your first edit, we have this (new language bolded):
"We would like to thank Ron for his many years OF hard work and FOR HIS dedication TO the Bills and PSE," Terry Pegula said.
I can do that. I still want the Pegula NDA.

So they can thank him for his hard work to the Buffalo Bills?
"Thank you for your hard work and for your dedication to the SDS Foundation."
One is not connected to the other.
27 minutes ago, That Aud Smell said:Past being prelude, we will hear nothing from him about the matter.
I'd guarantee this! I want a copy of the Pegula NDA just like I want a copy of the Massey pre-nup.

The "WITH" added above is needed,
It isn't, but it would be nice. And agreed that the family thing is superfluous.
Is Ron's daughter really only in middle school? He was a year ahead of me in high school; seems his kids would be a little older.

Your stab at it? (Edit, not rewrite.)
"We would like to thank Ron for his many years OF hard work and dedication TO the Bills and PSE," Terry Pegula said. [Of course he didn't, publicly, this is bust poorly-written PR BS.] "We wish HIM and his family the best of luck in THEIR future endeavors."
Those would be my initial changes. Aud Smell may have more.

Raccuia out. Terry Pegula in.
Whoa.
Ron wasn't doing anything with the actual football team anyway. And he's probably got the entrepreneurial itch back. Good dude, bad fit: He needs to be running his own small/medium - sized business, not someone else's NFL team.

Loss today in singles, possibly impacted by a back injury. (She withdrew from mixed doubles for that reason.) Playing ladies' doubles now w/ Gauff.

How is it that after all these years, gas stations still haven't phased out the extra 9/10ths of a penny?
Because we still pay it.

Question. Around here it seems that some but not all think the Sabres are not a big enough team. Now that Debrincat has been traded to Detroit to view Detroit as bigger or smaller than the Sabres on either forward or defense or both?
Smaller, but not necessarily in terms of physical size. It is a team composed of spare parts that don't know how to work with each other and it will "play smaller" as a result.

Isn't Kane's injury timeline the same as Quinn's? I got the impression they'd both be back around the same time.
There would be some excitement to the signing. It's hard to square away the Sabres needs with whatever he has left, though. He is a goal magnet, but not for his own team anymore
18 minutes ago, Taro T said:And therein lies the rub. He doesn't really bring anything the healthy forward grouping doesn't already have and he's expected back too late to be bringing anything they might be missing with Quinn out of the lineup.
And the veteran forward who likely stuck around 1 year too long slot has already been claimed by Okposo.
Not sure what he brings that the team as currently constructed is lacking.
I'm not necessarily advocating for Kane, but someone else will be on LTIR by then. We just don't know who yet.

I must have missed the Zadina news. I guess my point Still is i'm not a fan of the way detroit is handling the rebuild.
The British would say they're bottling it. We would say they're Botterilling it.

From February 1 through to Levi signing with the Sabres he certainly wasn't helping the cause. 2-6-2 in those 10 games. If you want to look at penultimate stats rather than the "ultimate stat" he had 2 games with a sub-0.750 S% and gave up at least 4 goals on 7 occassions.
You SURE he wasn't holding them back?
I'm sure he WAS holding them back.

HockeyDB says he was born in Fort Erie, but am seeing other sites like yours saying he was born in Buffalo. Never once heard anyone from Buffalo claim him as their own, so presumed he actually was Fort Erie.
It seems (and will not bother to confirm it one way or another) that he was born in a Buffalo hospital to parents that lived on the other side of the Niagara River in Fort Erie.
So, you were right. Sorry for doubting you. 🍻 (Though still don't think of him as a Buffalonian. 😉)
(PS, would definitely include Stempniak as being from Buffalo. West Seneca is the town directly adjacently east of South Buffalo. It's actually the town inbetween Orchard Park (where the Buffalo Bills play) and Buffalo.)
Also there are no hospitals in WS so unless he was delivered of his mother old-style (certainly a possibility), he was born somewhere else. Same goes for Iafallo and Eden.

I don't see why that's an "of course." Fans by definition have less credibility.
I've watched a couple of his videos on other teams. He does wear the sweater of the team he's discussing.

Well, while we're waiting...
Two Americans have scored 5 goals in a single NHL game. Name 'em.

So Detroit didn't get good enough to really compete, and Ottawa got a little worse. This is good for Sabres fans. I will say that Detroit brought in DeBrincat for less than the expected (projected?) extension price of 9M per. So Yzerman did do one thing right so far this summer.

Another gem from The Hockey Writers: https://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-rumors-july-9-2023/
Nothing different from what 50% of the other sites are putting out there...except this one is citing an NHL.com writer (not necessarily more authoritative) and not just saying it on its own.

Hmm...I guess Mary Ford?

I had thought Nick was born in TO. Guess not.

Orpik grew up in Amherst but was born in San Francisco. Iafallo is listed as Eden.
The first three are correct
OK. I think Bailey listed Williamsville and I'm not sure he hit 100 anyway.

Our future lord and saviour Jessica Pegula is on to the Wimbledon quarters. The first time she’s advanced that far in that tournament.
She's not great on grass. There are only about ten grass court women's tournaments, and most of them are below her level and in Europe.

Folks asking about Pegula ownership of AdPro: Any time I mentioned Pegulas owned AdPro, I would get a sternly worded text from Raccuia he still owns it. I never understood arrangement no matter how many times he tried to explain. Anyway, Legends closing in on AdPro acquisition.
