I didn't expect Eakin to get many minutes this season but he did come out of the gate with his mullet on fire so maybe that influenced his early ice time. The only explanation, without really knowing since we're not embedded with the team..... is that Eakin is providing some kind of development in the room, with the kids or whatever so Donny is rewarding that with ice time? Either way, there is no ***** way he is here next season. None. I make my own judgements of Adams and I realize he's not infallable.

No it doesn't. Just wonder why Donny keeps sending them out. I'd rather he double shifted the younger guys and gave them opportunities to win faceoffs at important times in the game rather than waste ice with Eakin. I don't doubt the front office or their direction at this time though.
