  1. I don't have high falutin' tastes, nor do I demand a single malt. But I do enjoy a good Irish Whiskey. My favorites are Tullamore Dew, Michael Collins, and Black Bushmills. I have no prejudice against Jamesons, and think it is just fine for making irish coffees. I was a scotch drinker in my youth, but just don't have the palate for it anymore.
  2. I couldn't have said it better. And shame on Lindy if he can't motivate his team to respond. Whining about the officiating post-game doesn't work in the NHL. The other teams will just keep abusing you until you stand up for yourself. You can't rely on the three blind mice in striped shirts.
  3. A hockey writer from Wisconsin tweeted today that Terry Pegula is going make some sort of statement soon, which will include a commitment to continue his support of PSU hockey.
  4. Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I should have done a search first. I appreciate the info.
  5. Does anyone who has relocated to Washington or Northern Virginia know the best bar to watch a Sabres game in? I have a relative who is new to that area, but still wants to follow the Sabres. And before you say "They should get NHL Gamecenter" please know that this person is college student on a limited income. Thanks.
  6. Can't help but think of this song while getting pumped up for tonight's game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UzZDOBWGro
  7. Buffalo is hockey heaven. Hell yeah!

  8. Also known as Golden Wheels on TBD

  9. Have to be in Chicago on business later this week. Does anyone know a sports bar in the area where a Sabres fan could watch playoff games?
  10. I think Tyler Perry has some certain off-screen talents that made him the success he is today. And I'm sure it's just a coincidence that he got famous by dressing as a woman. Ahem. As for snow storms, I am sick of the local stations where I live whipping people into a frenzy over 3-4" of snow, which we got yesterday when the schools were closed. For 3-4"? They are turning our children into wussies!
