Vanek is only "elite" in the offensive end finishing/scoring. the rest of his game is very weak starting with leadership and defensive responsibility.

it was suggested that the team might be able to do something better with the $6 mil we pay miller. i'm suggesting there is about $15 million worth of unproductive contracts that should be taken care of before miller.

you can add $1,250,000 @ Kaleta (he's a knucklehead who produced 1 whole point all year, he can take his carruba collision trophy and go home, I must admit I am amused by him, but he adds little value other than drawing the occasional penalty). you need a couple more steve ott's instead.
