It's obvious that Steve lives in the Avant on Huron at Delaware. At about the :25 sec mark that view is the same as mine when I stayed a the Embassy Suites last. Several Bills players live there too.

Why do some people love Yuengling so much? Because it's great beer at a cheap price.
I went through my craft beer snob phase, trying one expensive beer after another. Then I realized that the beers Yuengling makes are as good, or at least close, to over-priced craft beers, at a Pabst Blue Ribbon price.
Like IPA? Yuengling's Lord Chesterfield Ale is terrific and costs $18 a case. Black and Tan? $20 a case. Yuengling Light Lager actually has flavor and is just 99 calories. Bud and Miller lights are 125.
Being in New England means I have to import my Yuengling when I visit Buffalo or my in-laws in Maryland. But it's worth it. I feel bad for the guy who runs the craft beer store in my town, where I used to drop what a case of Yuengling costs for just one 4-pack of craft beer. I feel even worse for the dude who opened his own brewery at the end of my street (really) but charges $14 for one 22oz bottle of his creation. It's good but not worth that kind of money.

In the meantime let's take proposals from artists who want to use the Skyway as a backdrop for an art installation. Maybe string LEDs and make it a video sculpture or something.

He played 1:50 per game on a very good power-play.
The kid is not void of talent, you have to weigh it against what a Kassian can bring. If both players maximized their 'potential", Kassian would be the more prized prospect.
More prized than a #1 center? <_<

How long before Miller gets fed up and wants out!! Im getting more excitment watching my candle burn down :)
Miller must know he's never winning a cup with the Sabres, not as long as Tommy Boy and Lucky Larry run the show. Pathetic display tonight.

I think it's unrealistic to expect the Sabres to win 9 out of 10 games. As teams start to figure out how to stop the Sabres, the coaching staff has to adjust. I would rather see them slump now and get the fire back in time for the playoffs, than see them blow their wad in the regular season.

I hate to say it but the Sabres are running on fumes. They look exhausted! You can tell by their feeble shots. All they can do is flip the puck at Ward.
The Philly series they pretty much dominated. The Sens series they lost some scoring punch but outhustled Ottawa. In this series, Carolina is taking everything away from them.
Look at the difference when the puck is in the offensive zone. Carolina collapses on the Sabres point men, eventually choking them off the puck. But in the Sabres zone, Buffalo hangs back, letting the 'Canes skate freely as if they were on a power play.
We might win this one, but I am not optimistic about the series.

They started to play not to lose in the third...and it cost them. Why did Miller go down so soon on that shot. If he stood upright it was an easy save.
Because it was a low shot before it deflected up off a Sabres stick. TRhe game would be over if it weren't for Miller.

One thing the Sabres have lost is their playmaking. They can't pass, control the puck, clear the zone, nothing! It's like an engine with it's timing off. Very out of sync. Is it the Carolina D doing it to them?

Just like Game 3 in Philly. Tons of chances, we just can't hit the net. Nice to see Ottawa brought their refs with them too. :(

This series is the Sabres' Stanley Cup finals. Ottawa is a better team than Buffalo. If Buffalo can find it in itself to win this series, then the cup is a reality for them, because if they beat Ottawa, they will fear no team.

Sloppy puck handling! It drives me up the wall. Sabres are coasting to the puck while the Flyers are skating hard. Puck handling in our end is the achilles heel of this team.

It ain't over...but it don't look good. Big mo' is on the Flyers side right now.
