After all these years you don't know me very well. If all I was worried about was losing money why would I have stayed a STH through the 12 year crapfest? My worry isn't selling my tickets, it's about ensuring the Sabres stay in Buffalo. I get the sense that several of you take great pleasure in seeing this team do poorly at the box office, but how would you feel if the Sabres left town? Won't happen, you say? I never take anything for granted with local teams. This franchise is too valuable elsewhere. And if we can't be bothered to buy NHL tickets for $33, who will shed a tear over the Houston or Atlanta Sabres?

Worst reason ever to sign a player. Not really. Take a look at how few pink dots there are. The Blue dot Sabres box office tickets are less.

Take a look at Ticketmaster.com. Aside from the Rangers home opener (full but not a sellout,) the rest of September is looking like last year. 4-6K unsold seats per game. And I'm taking about box office, not resales. (Resale tickets are wayyy down.) This is the Calgary game:

I think there are different NHL rights negotiated in different countries. For example, we are not allowed to see any NHL videos from Canadian sites like Sportsnet or TSN. I mean I can see the same videos on NHL.com or ESPN.com, but you are going to prevent me from seeing them on a Canadian site? Yet they do.

Being in Canada might be the issue.
