Why wouldn't the trade go the other way? If Sabres don't want one of those guys, why not pick up a freebie high pick to let Edmonton draft 2nd, and still pick the guy they want?

I'm on a very low tier package without MSG in the base package, so MSG is always blacked out for me. This year they started blocking Sabres MSG, because some dim bulb at DTV thinks MSG in WNY is part of the NYC RSN.

Any DTV subscribers in NYC market willing to chime in on a peculiar programming issue. Appears that DTV made a code change in the programming and the WNY MSG channel is somehow coded for the NY market, so the home Sabres games are blacked out on my Center Ice package. I was always able to get it prior to this year. Several calls to DTV haven't solved this yet. Anyone else experience this?
