After spending most of my youth attending Amerk's games, the most annoying people in the arena are the "shoot the puck" a-holes. Evertime a player gets a foot across the blue line they start in with their dmn moronic chant.

Is everyone happy with the current line combo's:
Kotalik-Briere-Connolly
Vanek-Roy-Afinogenov
Grier-Drury-Hecht
Mair-Gaustad- Pominville
Mckee-Fitzpatrick
Lydman-Tallinder
Numminen-Campbell
I like them for the most part. I might want to switch up Grier and Pominville. I think their is an interesting dynamic on the backend, pairing one good D with one not so good D man.

-When did McKee become so terrible at handling the puck.
I think the new rules have affected him the most on the team.
Peters is a waste of a roster spot. I don't want to see Thorburn stay up here
Don't worry, he's in the Roc.
-Pominville looks like he has shown enough to stay up for awhile.
He would have to clear waivers to be sent down and their is no way he would make it through.
Give Drury somebody to work with other than Grier.
Grier is effective on the 4th line, that is where he should be.

-When the game was 4-3, Connolly had a great opportunity from about 15 feet away and missed the net. Is it just me or do several Sabres have a problem in this regard...Connolly, Drury, Dumont to name a few. If I was Lindy, I'd be focusing on this a lot.
This "problem" you are referring to is called talent and the ability to finish. Nothing Lindy or any other coach can do to increase their accuracy with the puck.

What did you expect.
You sit two goalies for the first month of the season. Give one a token start. And then expect them to shut down the best team in hockey.
Take a good look at the Sen's.
They have had the same problems off the ice as Buffalo has had. They even have to deal with the currencey issue. And yet they are miles and miles ahead of the Sabres.
And by the way. Who is the Sen's GM? Who traded for Heatley?
OK. Come on. Start posting on how Regier is a great GM. Larry Quinn is moron. Getting rid of Muckler and signing the cheapest priced guy they could find. Muckler is building a Cup team in Ottawa just like he did in Buffalo. I doubt they will be as stupid as Quinn was and fire him before he is done. ;)
I've never had more of a problem with what you have just said. The Sens were the worst team hockey has ever seen for their first 4 years. (new Sens, not including team from 1930's) They parlayed that into high draft picks which took about 7 or 8 years to develop into the team they are today. Buffalo couldn't get to where Ottawa is because if they lose that badly for that long their will be no team in Buffalo. Therefore, we are only going to be as good as our current players develop into because we aren't going to benefit from having a top two or three pick. Although we should have in the last draft but as usual we got hosed in that to. :unsure:

Hopefully the cameraman will be sober and I'll actually get to see this game.
I was watching a game on OLN the other night and it hurt my brain. How about panning out to see the entire offensive zone when a team is on the power play. It comes off like they don't know hockey. Passes are going back to the point on the PP. Shouldn't someone know this that works there? And BTW, follow the players heads. They look at the puck! How hard is it?
