Barely. He’s been getting heavy dzone minutes the better part of the last 3 seasons not counting this one.

He’s not going to dominate every game. He’s a lot more Zemgus Girgensons than Jack Eichel.

He still does things a little too cutesy at inappropriate places and times on the ice. First period he decided to go all Dahlin at the side of his own net. The Sabres spent the next two minutes fighting off the Penguins in their own zone.
