A MARINO Jersey?
-
I've enjoyed this back and forth. This is so complete ...

Well, I'd vote for Ol' Bill for many reasons. Regarding immigration, he recognized what it is to be a nation, how the rule of law defines a nation, how surrendering the rule of law for any reason threatens to undermine the character of a nation (one of my favorite concepts in his speech) ... and he had the courage to say so without fearing the slings and arrows of outrageous misrepresentation and its ugly conjoined twin, the label. Of course, it took less courage in 1995. Ideas were debated more, shouted down less. Labeling someone a racist or bigot required evidence to be taken seriously. Cue the exception posts .. well, yes. I'm referring to the leadership at the very top. I've seen people write similar thoughts and have their "fear of brown skinned people" pointed out. I've wrestled with Trump's support and it's origins. I reject deplorables and desperate as the categories. I think many people want Ol' Bill's common sense and policy and are willing to tolerate a "Trump" to get it. Quick response ....

To SwampD - In terms of the men, yes. In terms of the words they used, yes. In terms of the policy implications, in terms of the legislative agenda, and in terms of the priorities, not so much. I'd vote for that candidate and that government.

Interesting .... I posited, once, that our country had moved generally left in my lifetime ... I found myself in the minority with that view. Nothing proved, but interesting. Who'd cheer this speech? https://youtu.be/auZRVqrCLY8

I start the "We want Ray" chant, regardless of game. I also start, confession, the "Go, Leafs, Go" chant no matter what arena I'm in. I won't in March, however ... 'specially cuz I'm sitting downstream from Eleven and Ink. -
For me, it's "I like guys who didn't get captured" when talking about Senator McCain. Hey, PA -- THAT earned my loathing! Two of us .. I agree. He'd be last man standing. His career was made when WC met HR at Yale, and no one knew it at the time. I always think of those three when contemplating The Butterfly Effect.

Tickets arrived! Thank you. -
Triple awesome!! The newspaper story that never gets written. Oops, just saw the follow (dust) up. Glad it worked out - careful's always good - seems you were! And NS, our Northern Light, so good to see you, as always.

Methinks I resemble that remark!

LOL, that's the SNL script, item by item.

Game Balls - mine: Zach Brown Anthony Lynn Tyrod Taylor Robert Woods

As much as I'd like to believe otherwise, I think the return of TB bodes well for NE. TB + BB is formidable, all by itself.

ESPN Power rankings #2 team (this week) and Arizona last week (#5 even after the Bills loss) ... Is Buffalo top 10? ****** Zach Brown .. 13 solo tackles.
-
What, exactly, would it prove wrong?
-
Wings, beer, beef on weck ..... $30 Bills Backers Membership, Family .... $40 Watching Pats fans leaving early, and Gronk's face of misery, both on television .... Priceless.
-
Zach's coming out party ... well, a little easier with Tom Terrifi on the sidelines.

I will refer you to any of my 500 posts loathing the tax code. How many months back would you like me to go? You'll find me advocating simple and progressive with the wealthy paying more. What bell and whistle am I missing with my preoccupation with a love for human beings? I simply can't make the logical fallacy leap required to blame Trump for the code.
-
Telling? Oh, do tell. You owe me that, now. You have more confidence in your perceptive ability than I do mine. I think "you need to loathe more" may sum up the difference between how we lead our lives. Some need to loathe less. I'll not comment on the continuing miss of the taxes point. I choose to focus on the issue, you choose to recommend more loathing .... different strokes? Grateful!

Justin Edelman ... a short order cook without Tom Brady ... which would be fine, if he weren't so self-convinced otherwise.
-
Fullback dive ... beauty.
-
Carpenter just sucks. Period.

I hear you .. I did think about that ... but I just see everyone starting from scratch with newbies with limited shelf lives as less effective than getting one representative and having him/her forever. No proof ... I did consider your angle. Interesting thought ... what do LOBBYISTS think of term limits?

Zach Brown is impressing me. The caused fumble, obviously. He also chased down Edelman over 80 yards on the game's first play.
