Good for Johnson. Let him start to feel successful. Good for Kane. Tasmanian devil. When Ennis' shooting percentage reverts to 11%, or so, he'll approach 35 goals. I'm forgiving some of the goal scorers because the chances are plentiful. Night and day. I have to believe they'll come. I like the involved defenseman although we're not quite the Lindy jump squad we were. Not Risto's best game, not Franson's worst. I didn't notice Pysyk often. That's awesome when watching on tv. Babcock has the Leafs playing better. I liked Kadri.

I have the Hockey Night in Canada feed. Highlighted Eichel's first NHL exposure to all of Canada. Very impressed color team. "He plays a 200 foot game" and "speed". Leafs crowd seems more quiet than I'm used to, especially with the lead. Any commentary on the cross boarder ticket sales?

Collecting data on my personal habits gives me the heebie geebies. This board has taught me a lot. It's moved the boundaries on many issues I'd called framed. Move from cell phones to medical records ... To wit: if the government provides my healthcare, storing my records is reasonable. That's one of my objections to having the government provide it. Having it stored by a partner I choose, who has no legislative authority over me, is one thing. Sample issue: If I paid for your healthcare, I might require that you don't drink, smoke, ride a motorcycle or eat fast food. Reasonable ... Can you imagine the world if Humana could legislate my habits in light of its liability for my healthcare? I am open to universal healthcare - separating the financial liability from the legislative authority.

Not with me, you haven't. If cell phone data collection and 45 minute airport lines are the cost of safety, I will gladly choose freedom and choice over that real and not so real safety. Freedom comes at a cost. Assumption of risk and where do I vote?

Big news ... on more than one front. This goes against my original prediction, but I'm less surprised than I would've been 10 days ago, the informed "he's going to run" sources of the last two days notwithstanding. The President's "there's nothing's to see, here" on 60 Minutes modified my predication quite a bit. All that aside, I'm sorry to see him out. I like Joe and think he represents his party well.
