  1. All the trade talk...I dunno. I see a team that simply needs experience playing a heavy, contender-level game. They can hang. It's going to take a delicate touch to make the correct upgrades to this roster.
  2. Yay team! Seriously, can someone point me to the YouTube instruction sheet?
  3. SNAP! - The Power (Official Video) - YouTube BARTENDER! HOW DO YOU POST YOUTOOB VIDEOS HERE?
  4. The Jets are a good team. I think mid-season Sabres looking near equal to them in their barn is a good sign.
  5. Sometimes it's 4 to a double. Just kidding. Really, sometimes it's 3 to a single. It's how they afford t-shirt cannons.
  6. That's why we should be talking about Mitts as the roster player moved in a trade. We have a lot of Mitts fans here who are pointing out his improvements. Who would you rather stay, Mitts or VO? I'd rather we keep VO. No matter what happens in a trade you have to give up good to get good in return.
  7. Jost didn't begin this season with the Sabres and in his current role. We won't know his full potential with us unless he is re-signed, but what he has shown is at least average contextually (established already in this thread) if not slightly above.
  8. Oh man, if I were on my other computer I'd dig up and post a Paddle of Ethron graphic for old timesies sake.
  9. He has the talent, skill and decision-making ability of a legit NHL forward. That's a good start. He's the kind of Beane/Adams humble character who seems to fit the team's chemistry. This, IMHO, is super important. He's a center who can reasonably slide between the second and fourth lines. Very important and we might take it for granted now, but when we were a bottom-feeder we would have pined with wide, moist eyes over an equivalent player on another team. He makes his line better. I haven't looked to see what's avaliable for other line combos he's been invovled in, but the Mitts, Jost, VO line speaks for itself. KA would be a fool not to sign, or to trade, Jost.
  10. They were pooped out at the end and the refs made a crappy call. Any other Sabres roster over the past decade would have collapsed. NIce.

  12. The Power - Snap! (1990) - YouTube WTF why is posting a YouTube link so difficult on a tablet? v=HzCK_dS_ook
  13. I rarely agree with Paul Hamsammich, but I think the argument he just made regarding trade-deadline upgrades is on point. If Adams can do something without: trading any of our first-round prospects or any of our first-round picks, then do it. But I want them to remain set up for the future long term.
