  1. Put him out to pasture now.
  2. Interesting. Anyway, I think this is all the source of the disagreement. There is varying instruction on how to calculate the W% for NHL coaches. Here are some comparables from the NHL list: Bowman .581 Trotz .504 Ruff .487 Nolan .397 Granato .438
  3. However, NHL Records clearly has a different formula. https://records.nhl.com/records/coach-records/wins/coach-most-wins-career They do strictly wins/games-coached.
  4. This same formula is in hockey-reference. https://www.hockey-reference.com/about/glossary.html#:~:text=Winning percentage%3B calculated by adding, then dividing by games played.
  5. WE NEED A COACH. How can the truth be slapping everyone in the face, yet everyone is completely oblivious to it? "Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed." ~Thomas Jefferson
  6. Hmm... "In sports, a winning percentage is the fraction of games or matches a team or individual has won. The statistic is commonly used in standings or rankings to compare teams or individuals. It is defined as wins divided by the total number of matches played (i.e. wins plus draws plus losses). A draw counts as a 1⁄2 win. winning percentage=wins+0.5⋅ties / total games" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winning_percentage Depending on where we get the numbers from his WP is .571, .562, or .564
  7. Please, pretty please trade Tommy Dangles and Power as a package for a real player. 2-for-1 is a-okay. And, please, fire Donnie Meatballs and hire back Lindy. Meatballs for a Ruff, yes...please.
  8. Power on D for another goal. Maybe he has a gambling problem.
  9. Dearest Tiffany, I recall with great clarity when the depression set in that ultimately changed my life forever. The Commanders of my brigade and that of one in the Western New York territory decided it was best to swap yours truly and one of their soldiers. The very next day I joined my new company in one of their battles. At first I thought well of my new companions and my looseness served to reward me with early success. However, half way through the battle I started to realize these soldiers were nothing like I had seen before. In brief, they fought no more composed or serious than a troupe of clowns sent onstage between dancers at a burlesque. My thoughts turned dark and set upon me like a heavy, opaque cloud. I knew then in an instant that any sincere effort toward a victory was futile. My life was doomed. I pray this adds clarity to that portion of my career and I beg your forgiveness. I am forever yours, Bowen
  10. Don Granato (2021-present): Regular Season Record: 111-117-25 (.484) Lindy Ruff (1997-2013): Regular Season Record: 571-432-120 (.571)
  11. Could be Marfan syndrome.
  12. I didn't like him at all until about a month and half ago when it became apparent what he was trying to do, other than scoring, was working more than it was not. If we gave Mitts 7 years to develop the game he just left us with, we can give Krebs the rest of this season to develop his. I think they're relatively similar except Krebs will actually do stupid things like hit other players and be an agitator.
  13. And his name ends with the letter "u".
