Reading the comments on TSN, it's interesting the range of perspectives. There are people there who simply have no idea what they're getting in Ott and Miller. I think Miller will kick ass with that team in front of him. Ott should be a beast in the playoffs. On the other hand, Stewart and Halak are getting a lot of love. I'm inclined to think this deal does weigh in Buffalo's favor, but that ignores that there is no set price for making a move that makes you a serious contender. When you're at that point, what good is a pick or a prospect, especially in the face of a move that may get you the Cup? I dig it.

Miller's time here has come and gone. I'm surprised you're upset about his trade, and are not mentioning Ott. Ott, IMHO, is the ideal captain to lead the transition from loser to contender. I guess if Ott goes and wins a Cup, and comes back here, that would be nice.
