This sucks.
Why aren't they keeping him out on LTIR until the playoffs, so that we can finally circumvent the cap rules?!
-
I’ll take it, but that was not an enjoyable game to have to watch.

No jam.
This team sucks.

This feels like a Sabre 7-3 win. Not sure why.

The Sabres while still mathematically alive are clearly not going to make the playoffs. Facing facts, they should be tanking to get the best draft position possible. And based on the third period against Edmonton, it looks like the Sabres got that memo.
It would be better not to bring any Rochester players up so they're not in the locker room while this is going on. Toxicity is contagious.
When will this notion just go away?

So, your suits are more glittery?

I appreciate the perspective, but it just seems we are just so much worse than last season. That’s what happens under the weight of raised expectations when players just can’t handle it. Raised expectations should fuel a team though. Remember the syrupy letter to the fans by Okposo before the season. The one where he said the guys are embracing the pressure? It’s laughable now.
That's what happens when you see starting goal tenders because of last year.

This year we are even worse than not good and it’s double as bad because it’s year 4, but we absolutely absolutely can’t fall for a run it back trick this time
ugh.

And that's been my point.... people need to get over it.
No. We accept dumb in this country way too much.
Do better.😂

But when people say either one, the intent is the same, regardless of the semantics.
And another thing. I really hate when people use semantics to complain about semantics. Especially when they are wrong about those semantics.

I hate when they get cute. It always ends up in out own net.
Just make the right play. You’re not that good.

Who was the ***** moron Sabre that made that great breakout pass for the Canucks?
-
Does Matt Ellis know that we don’t see what he sees in the mirror? I sure hope he knows that he is at ice level and the cameras are much higher. Actually, I kinda hope he doesn’t realize it.

Van looks much better than Seattle.
***** the Nucks!
Time to break the streak and score.

If getting outshot 18-8 in the third period is shutting them down then yes, that's exactly what the Sabres did. Once again UPL earned a star. I will say, though, that the Kraken effort in the third was typical of post-tank Sabres: Lots of shots from the outside; Oopie only had to make a couple tough ones.
Score effects.
The Sabres shut them down.

Krebs. You ruined a pretty good period. It was just so ***** stupid.

I won't fight you on this one. I've seen the ref stop play for less than that though.
K. He made a play on the puck while down. Broke up a pass that would have led to a dangerous chance right in front of the net. He was hurt, yes. It wasn’t serious.

He got hit a 2nd time while down, no?
No. He broke up a pass while down.

Ref can always blow the whistle if a player is seriously injured. We see it all the time.
He wasn’t seriously injured.

Greenway needs to keep his feet moving once he hits the blue line.

Kevyn and Don, should we really expect more after four years?

Ftr, I’m not convinced that BB-4 is a first pair d man yet (not on a cup contender, anyway.) Also, while Tage has looked a lot better of late, he has to show me a lot more (especially before the season is lost) to convince me that he is part of a cup contending team.
It’s amazing to me just how many posters in the past 13 years have been “right” about the future,… until they weren’t.
We should expect more.
