  1. Rob Ray gets Ex-Bison Bo Bichette’s Homerun in Toronto! 44F6D1FF-5B6B-4945-BCA6-F7539F89D09E.MOV
  2. Mini-packs went on sale today. Lots of good seats were available on the seat map in the 100 level shoot twice sections even though existing mp holders didn’t get an exclusive window this year. Got my six pack on mostly Saturdays including the home opener this year. Cant wait to see how the team will gel early in the year, seeing 4 of my games in the first 7 weeks! Also nice to see the Bills dominance tonight.
  3. The first Pegula Championship: https://www.wtatennis.com/news/what-you-work-pegula-romps-first-wta-singles-title-citi-open She will be ranked #55 on the tour on Monday, a new career high.
  4. #90 back in the Sabres lineup! Only $30 to change the nameplate at Sabres store! I’ve gone from Vanek to Moulson to Dahlin. Hopefully no more changes for at least a decade!
  5. For example: https://mobile.twitter.com/TSNBobMcKenzie/status/1144726373778558976 apologies for those on desktop computer if this link doesn’t work (maybe just remove where it says mobile...?
  6. Last year: 16 2017-18: 19 2016-17: 15 2015-16: 19 2014-15: 19 2013-14: 13 So, lowest number of back-to-backs since Cody Hodgson led the team in scoring with 44 points, Nolan was fired in favour of Roulston, and Regier was fired in favor of Murray. Hopefully it’s not a sign of things to come!
  7. I was wondering if everyone else was as frustrated as I was after that game...no doubt about it. Apart from the 10 game mirage, this team looks so much slower and less determined than it was in November. It’s like they’ve lost their confidence, and can’t get it back. Watching the playoffs slowly slip away is more difficult to deal with as a Buffalo fan, but this is such a close league, and we were probably overachieving when we were streaking. Now, the tough times are showing that this team isn’t quite ready for prime time yet. We are where we would have liked to be in the beginning, but
  8. On the bright side, the Bruins lost tonight as well, and the Habs put Carey Price on IR today. If we win Saturday, it could be five points up on the Bruins and six on the Habs if they fall in Florida tomorrow. Hopefully tonight was a wake up call and they get their north game going next time.
  9. Face-offs will be interesting to watch when Jack and ROR meet up tonight. Wonder if either of these two have any new tricks up their sleeve? Despite a bad start, the Blues are 5-3 in their last eight and beat the Pacific leading Flames in Calgary in their last game. Hope the Sabres aren’t looking past this game with the key Bruins match-up next.
  10. I wonder if no one picks him up on waivers, and there is no trade that makes sense, would they bury him with Matt Moulson on the Ontario Reign? I guess they would have to want him...however we can get rid of his cap hit, get it done.
  11. Quite often, the biggest factor in this game is Roberto Luongo. I hope he isn’t tonight.
  12. In case you ever wondered what the offside cam looks like, I snapped this picture tonight. Looks like the cardiac kids are back at it! Thanks to LA D for falling apart to help our cause
  13. I was there as well and remember how distinct the Sabres support was compared to Leafs fans, and compared to regular season games. Felt like 80/20 to me.
  14. For sure. To add to this, how many others dropped their season tickets at the end of last year? Looks like a lot based on the early season mid-week games averaging just over 15,000. That’s 4K worth of tickets up for grabs. I was at the Calgary game and there were tons of empty seats everywhere
  15. The good: we gained ground on the Bruins in the race for the playoffs The bad: Auston Matthews, the Leafs and their hated fans Playoffs>emotions
  16. 9 of the next 13 at home. After tomorrow maybe it’ll be back to scary good again. Tomorrow is almost an unfair set-up. Maybe they will be more determined than tired, but it’s a pretty tough ask. The crowd should ensure the boys are at least motivated. Hope Sheary and Pommers get back in. Fresh legs will help
  17. Sportsnet One (SN1) just added this game to their lineup tonight, so it will be on nationwide in Canada for those without NHL-CI.
  18. Just watched the replay of the end of the game. It was so awesome to see Sam jumping up and down with excitement on the bench as the winning goal was scored. I have never seen him that ecstatic before, even when he’s on the ice for a goal. Was great to see, he usually has ice in his veins. I was doing the same after jumping out of my seat!
  19. All of the next 5 games after the Tampa game are on one of the Sportsnet channels (except the Leafs game which is on TSN4). Talk about good timing for those here without NHLCI. Glad people got to watch the MSG feed tonight too.
  20. That store would have been Cupolo’s. My minor hockey years included many purchases from this place which is now closed. Back in the day, it was hockey heaven for equipment.
  21. Nice to witness our boys achieve a share of franchise history tonight. Sat in Section 106, 10 rows up and saw Sam throw that pass directly at me as Nate roofed it top shelf where mama hides the cookies! The count up to 10 happened so many times I don’t have a voice left! The house was rocking and everyone was high fiving each other just like it used to be 12 years ago! Also Labatt Brewhouse was a pretty good place to warm up before the game. Really liked the meatballs!
  22. Hey everyone, It’s been a little while since I’ve posted, but I’m always lurking, and it’s so interesting to read everyone’s comments and laugh at the good jokes. Since it seems like good times are here again, I thought I would get nostalgic and start a memorabilia thread. I had to change my avatar and thought these old school beauties would be a good idea. I’ve got a couple other old ones, but will wait for a while to see if someone else has the same. These are from back in the ‘80’s, when a souvenir was something cool.
